April 11, 20251 yr I'm pretty sure they show Eric Wagaman at bats at Guantanamo Bay to get the prisoners to confess.
April 11, 20251 yr There are just stretches when Eddy cannot find the zone and will throw 7 or 8 balls in a row. He just can't figure it out, because he could win a Cy Young if he pounded the zone, the stuff is so good.
April 11, 20251 yr Is Eddy just the pitching equivalent of Jazz as a hitter? Tanatalizing superstar potential but work ethic and injuries will always hold them back.Would love to be wrong about this.

April 12, 20251 yr Lead off triple probably wasted because Wagaman and Bride have to stick around in the middle of the order.

April 12, 20251 yr We know that a lot of these guys are just buying time until some of our better prospects are ready. So of course they are going to be pretty mediocre The frustrating part is when they don't do the little things like advancing the runner, taking pitches to eat up counts, hit the cut off man, and not making baserunning errors. The little things like that can make a huge difference in a one-run loss and a one-run win, of which there will be like half of the games on the schedule. If these journeyman/AAAA types can't do those things there is no reason to keep them around.

April 12, 20251 yr See, Sanoja does the little things. Solid bunt and hustle. Also, Hicks will be bruised up tomorrow. That means it's Rob Brantly time.Wow, back to back great bunts. Pauley hustles for the hit. Feels like I'm watching the KBO.Bunt it again!
April 12, 20251 yr Hit by pitch followed by 2 sac bunts that the pitcher could not field. Edwards with the bases loaded and no outs. Let's score here!
April 12, 20251 yr X gonna get ya!That's Marlin baseball baby. We solved our groundball problem. We just won't hit it that far to the fielders.
