I think this road trip will make or break the Marlins season. 5 in Atlanta, 3 in Cleveland, 3 in Boston. Truist Park has been a house of horrors for the Marlins and the Red Sox have the best winning percentage all time vs the Marlins (I will note that we swept them- for the first time ever- the last time we visited Fenway). Next 11 could be a disaster, or could be the springboard that gets us to the playoffs.

Absolutely wild that we are having legitimate conversations about making the playoffs. Even though the odds are still pretty low, the hope of getting in at this point in the season is not something I saw coming. And I would say I was one of the more optimistic fans coming into the season.

The Marlins have not won the season series vs the Braves since 2014. Have not won the Atlanta leg of the season series since 2015. Winning 4 will take the season series, taking 3 will win the Atlanta leg of the season series.

BTW, if the Marlins take at least 3 this weekend and then take 2 of 3 when they meet in Miami again, then it will be the first year that the Fish win both legs of the season series vs the Braves... since 1997.

3rd straight game that we trail 2-0 in the first due to the starter giving up the long ball. Not sustainable.
