Maybe I'm basing this just on what the Marlins have done recently, but I would bet it's true across the league. Edited May 27May 27 by farmer_fran

Made more sense to promote from Carolina then ALQ when you need a guy. Plus pitchers would get HAMMERED out in ALB and try to mess with mechanics to get the numbers to get promoted. They also didn't value hitters stats out there. It literally was a league for your misfit toys back then.

Sunday at 03:26 AM5 days Author Milbrandt pitched again in AA. Wasn't as dominant as last few starts but gave up nothing through four innings until he surrendered a homer in the fifth. This ended his scoreless innings streak at 27 and change.4.2 ip, 6 h, 2 er, 3 w, 7k's. No decision and raised ERA to 1.34.He was sitting 94-95 on his fastball and his curve and slider (it's a gyro-type sweeper that is borderline unhittable if they swing) looked sharper. Like his potential but he is not ready yet.Arquette looks the part. He is a physical specimen.Juan Matheus is a compact middle infielder and he looks very promising. Most impressive prospect I saw. We got him in the Weathers trade.
