I think that he helped the orioles scout him or something. I am not sure but I know that they are good friends. It would be interesting to see him set up Benitez. Imagine both Benitez and Mesa pitching great for the marlins after our rivals gave up on them. Not only that, I think Mesa signed a minor league deal so he should be cheap.

First off, I just want to say that Mike is my favorite player so dont jump on me. I am starting to think that Mike might not make the all star team unless he gets hot. Scott Rolen is pretty much a lock to be the starter. Aramis Ramirez is also having a great year. He's batting .321 with 14 HR and 54 RBI. Only Lowell and Pierre are good with bases loaded. I know that they are a combined 2-2 in their last plate appearences with bases loaded. Both singles.

Did you guys see him today. He went 3-4 with two doubles and a monster homerun. I know that we won the world series, but it would have been nice if we could have kept him. instead of trading for Choi, we could have gotten someone else.

The yankees are considering trading Kenny Lofton. I think that he would work well with the marlins. I have always loved his speed and batting. Wouldnt he fit good in pro player. Also, he has proved himself in the playoffs. He killed us last year. However, we would have to send down a player. I would send down Lenny. His swing looks really weak this year.
