  2. SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Former baseball star Albert Belle was arrested Thursday and charged with stalking his ex-girlfriend, police said. Scottsdale police said the 39-year-old Belle was taken into custody after a former girlfriend told officers that he had stalked her. Belle was being held without bond at the Maricopa County Jail in Phoenix, according to a county sheriff's department spokesman. A five-time All-Star outfielder, Belle hit 381 career home runs in a 12-year big league career that began with the Cleveland Indians in 1989. He also played for the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore before retiring in 2000 after his second season with the Orioles. The volatile Belle often ran into trouble on and off the field during his playing days. He was fined in 1994 for using a corked bat and suspended after instigating a brawl by elbowing an opposing player. In 1991, he threw a baseball into the chest of a fan taunting him. Years later, he tossed a ball at a photographer. Belle, who has lived in Arizona for several years, was arrested on a DUI charge here in September 2002. What a waste of talent. I don't think it ever ends for some people.
  3. He'll be first ballot unless some sure fire evidence of steriod use comes out. The same goes for Barry.

  12. Admin's a mod so he'd probably get to you before I will.
  13. there are actually enough pirate fans to necessiate a message board? You could say the same for the Marlins :-/. Am I a dick on there? Probably not as much since I am the admin but we'll see how it goes.
  14. http://piratesbaseballonline.com/forums The main site is still under construction but the message boards are up and running. So come over and don't hesitate to spam it up!! (the spam section anyways :-/). Many thanks to Admin for all the help. Any questions or comments, don't hesitate to PM me on here or there.
  15. Well obviously the Pirates. I'd root for the Bucs to beat Jesus. Then "you're team" isn't the Marlins. It's the "I'm not rooting for anyone/I just hope the game's good" homos I can't stand. I just don't like rooting for two teams in anything. As Oly strikes out Hermida Me: YES!! Strike 3!!..... NO!!! You idiot! You should've homered! :plain
  16. Well obviously the Pirates. I'd root for the Bucs to beat Jesus.
  17. Well I like the Pirates first and foremost but I also like the Marlins (probably because of Admin). Is that retarded as well?
  18. Want him to get up on the podium and speak about officiating in the Super Bowl? Actually, yes. That would be entertaining. Ha, that probably would be. Maybe talk some trash on some player then get popped in the ass at a nightclub. :plain
  19. ?When they did that, they really want Peyton Manning and these guys to win the Super Bowl. They are just going to straight take it for them. I felt that they were like 'We don't even care if you know we're cheating. We're cheating for them.' ? - Joey Porter The shoe sure as hell is on the other foot now. Where was peyton manning in this game? oh yea on Hole 18 You completely missed the point, you neanderthal. What was the point of posting that if your so smart Tool The entire point of Passion posting that quote was that Joey Porter went from the side of getting screwed by the refs (against the Colts) to being benefitted by the other team getting screwed by the refs (the Seahawks). Also, I'm just assuming Passion was implying that Joey Porter probably won't gripe too much about the officiating in this case. Why the hell would he gripe about it? He was so worried about the integrity of the game three weeks ago against the Colts, but suddenly, when the lack of integrity benefits him, he has no issue with it. Well obviously he wouldn't have a problem with it. Is he spokesman for officiating? No, he was a pissed off player who was almost screwed by an outrageous call. Want him to get up on the podium and speak about officiating in the Super Bowl? Get real.

  21. I don't think he should have said the fix is in basically and I think he should've been fined given that the NFL fines players over much less. I wasn't "calling him out" but I think he should have gotten a fine. So please, don't try to call me out on the Porter issue.
