I think it's a win-win situation for both parties.

Anyone hear Ken Rosenthal on FOX
Sorry to burst anyone's bubble: No way in he!l the Marlins trade for Arod. The team has already made it clear they won't bump payroll much. We already know they have to bump it up for Cabs and D-Train. Even if Willis were part of the deal, the Yanks would want more in return. Teams like LA, Houston, Cubs, Phils, etc. could give up more players/propects. This coming from the same organization that said they weren't going to dismantle our 2003 Championship team. A Marlins fan should always expect the unexpected.

The Departed
Ahem... 10/10. Full review tomorrow. Must-see. A classic. Coming from you, I'm absolutely ecstatic now. You are usually a lot tougher than I am when grading movies and I've grown to respect your reviews.

TV ratings down..
I can probably tell you an estimate amount of viewers if I knew if this was just regional or if its the whole country. I can tell you right now a 2.9 is still very good (around 4-5 million) if its country-wide.

Smith
According to a fresh programming advisory from CBS, Smith has had its Tuesdays-at-10 time slot stolen from right under its nose "until further notice." Filling the vacancy over the next four weeks will be repeats of CSI (Oct. 10) and Criminal Minds (Oct. 17 and 24), and a program-to-be-announced (Oct. 31). :|

Friday Night Lights
I think it'll get one more airing before it gets pulled. What a shame.

Friday Night Lights
USA Today gave it 3.5 stars so I'll probably give it a chance. Nothing to watch at 8pm on Tuesday anyway. House. Playoffs (and btw House will air at 9 PM Tuesdays when it returns in November).

Nip/Tuck
TV Guide interviews Rosie about her Dawn Budge character & sex scene. TV Guide: On [the Oct. 3] Nip/Tuck you guest-star as an ex?New Yorker who's living in a Florida trailer park and wins the Powerball. How did the role come about? O'Donnell: I had never seen Nip/Tuck. But Kelli and I watched the first two seasons on DVD back-to-back in five days. I said, "This is the best show on TV. How come I've never heard of it?" So I called my agent and said, "Do you think there is any way they would ever be interested in me?" TV Guide: So what happened? O'Donnell: The show's creator, Ryan Murphy, happened to be on a flight and was watching my James Lipton interview. He got off and called my agent. It was kismet. TV Guide: Nip/Tuck is about the effects of plastic surgery. Have you ever had any plastic surgery? O'Donnell: I had a mini neck thing done when I was on my show and my son Parker was a baby. They kept saying to me, "What are we going to do about your neck? Or your fat?" But it was a same-day thing, so I don't know if that is even considered plastic surgery. I do not know if I would do it again, though, because I am not the kind of actress who gets parts based on my physical appearance. TV Guide: Do you identify with Dawn Budge, your character? O'Donnell: Totally. I said to Ryan, "It is too easy. I do not have to act! And I have to come in and be myself with that gorgeous man? My lord in heaven!" TV Guide: You mean Julian McMahon? O'Donnell: He is charisma personified, and he is unbearably sexy. He is McDreamy in every capacity. TV Guide: In the episode, you and Julian have a sex scene that is absolutely hilarious. Was it fun to film? O'Donnell: I had on this tube-top-type thing, and these short shorts, and they drape me so I am not embarrassed. And he comes in and all he has on is a sock covering his penis. He is totally naked. And he says, "Are you ready?" TV Guide: What did you say?! O'Donnell: [Laughs] I didn't even remember doing this, but apparently I said, "Oh, my god! You look like Superman." He looks like he is carved out of stone. We did a couple of takes and my boobs were showing and finally I just said, "Screw it." And took my shirt off. TV Guide: Did Kelli get jealous? O'Donnell: No, she was there, and she loved it!

The Nine
The show was crazy, can't wait to see more. I'm assuming the show will progress forward in time while having flashbacks to the bank? correct

Congressman Foley (R-Fla) Resigns After E-Mails With Page Found
Don't know if I should this spin this off to another thread but Hastert is under fire. If he doesn't resign or thrown out, there is no chance he will hold that position again next year (experts say).
