  4. I thought it was a poll. Re-Elect Gore 2008. Gore never won. Bush won 5 of the 9 recounts after the election using various methods to determine what was a vote and what wasn't. Bush won the election based on all the methods to count votes proposed by the Gore camp too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_election_recount Get over it. lol, i was 11 years old, so i was never hooked on it, but come on, everyone knows that election was stolen. Palm Beach. Pat Buchanan. :lol Idiots not knowing how to cast a vote isn't 'stealing' anything. But w/e. Get over it. all of that aside. think were better off today

  9. Waiting on the stories to be posted. Gonzales testified again teusday, against contradicting himself, and late last night, the AP posted documents clearly making Gonzales' statements on the Wiretapping Program untrue. And just posted, Senator Lehey has called for the Subpoena of 'Bush's Brain', Karl Rove. By Thomas Ferraro WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic senators urged that U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales be investigated for possible perjury and issued a subpoena on Thursday to senior White House political adviser Karl Rove. The actions were part of an escalating battle between the Democratic-led Congress and the White House that appears headed toward court. Four Democratic senators wrote U.S. Solicitor General Paul Clement, asking that he appoint an independent counsel to examine the truthfulness of Gonzales' testimony regarding his firing of federal prosecutors and President George W. Bush's warrantless domestic-spying program. "We ask that you immediately appoint an independent special counsel from outside the Department of Justice to determine whether Attorney General Gonzales may have misled Congress or perjured himself in testimony before Congress," they wrote. The letter was signed by members of the Judiciary Committee: Charles Schumer of New York, Dianne Feinstein of California, Russell Feingold of Wisconsin and Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island. "Oh give me a break," said White House spokeswoman Dana Perino. "It's amazing to me how every day the Democrats find a way to get out of doing the work Americans are expecting on issues important to them." Shortly afterward, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy, a Vermont Democrat, subpoenaed two more White House aides -- Rove and deputy political director J. Scott Jennings -- in his panel's probe of the fired prosecutors. "The evidence shows that senior White House political operatives were focused on the political impact of federal prosecutions and whether federal prosecutors were doing enough to bring partisan voter fraud and corruption cases," Leahy said. "It is obvious that the reasons given for the firings of these prosecutors were contrived as part of a cover up," Leahy charged. 11. Right now I would vote: 1. Obama 2. Richardson 3. Edwards Something like that. Dodd seems like he has decent ideas, but he's not going to last very long. I wish they would just tell Mike Gravel to go home already, nobody is going to vote for him. I really think he's just wasting everyone else's time at this point. I'm glad nobody here so far would vote for Mitt Romney, at least. Then again, the support for Fred Thompson doesn't make sense to me, either. I Agree with most of that, although i think that ahnds down Romney will be the GOP candidate. My top 3 would be flipped Edwards. Richardson Obama And if Biden could get serious, hed be #2 or #1. Either way, if a dem wins, definately a sec. of state.

  17. Edwards leads in Iowa. Forget the national polls. Romney is still below McCain in the national polls but leads huge in Iowa AND NH. Hillary and giuliani fall off, and Edwards or Richardson take on Romney. You can't count out the guys leading in the biggest states, just because the rest of the country doesnt see it that way yet. The early states have the biggest influence. It was all Dean at this time on 03, remember?
  18. What was impressive to me was the spark thar the team seemed to have. Amezega turned a double into a triple, and hanny stretched the single into a 2b. Not to mention the defanse was... good.
