  1. I would have Pavano on a very short leash for the 7th inning. If he gets in trouble, bring in Fox or Tejera.
  2. I thought so, you gotta know who's out there and Burnitz has a right fielders arm playing left field.
  3. was it a close play? I know Burnitz has a gun.
  4. No it's stopped raining it was just a passing shower.
  5. crap here comes the rain.
  6. Big 10 is not that great at all and Iowa's not even going to be a top 25 team this year. Big XII is going to be the best conference they could easily end up with more than half of there teams in the top 25.
  7. I thought Ashby was pitching...
  8. 4. Marlins 5, Expos 4 - July 11. Todd Hollandsworth gets a pinch-hit HR to tie the game and Juan Encarnacion singled in the go-ahead run later in the ninth inning as the Fish come back to beat Montreal. Also, Urbina is acquired from Texas and Luis Castillo is announced to the All-Star Game. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gam...ameId=230711120 A lot of people haven't been talking about this one, but that was a great game, right when we had no confidence in TH he hits that big homer and he's been good off the bench ever since.
  9. Braves choke in the playoffs anyways.
  10. I thought it was 1 strike away, I just wasn't sure I was about to say it, but I didn't want to be wrong.
  11. The Boston game. That was the game that turned our season around, we were just an average team before that and now we are a very good team. Another thing that made it great was not only Lowell's home run but Pierre's Catch in the bottom of the 9th, and the fact that they were 1 out away from winning before Lowell's homer.
  12. This might not be such a bad thing, because I just don't think the Astros are going to be the team coming out of the central, so we'll end up battling them sooner or later for the wild card.
  13. I've been saying it all along I want to see more of Castro. I wouldn't even mind if they split time on Pudge's days off I just want to see him get some starts.
  14. That just makes me sick. To see an American hero disgraced like this.
  15. 4-posts in a row by the same person all saying the same thing rephrased. Is that a record?
  16. finally got an out. I was having red sox flashbacks.
  17. get the kid out of there.
  18. ok I've changed my avator back to Willis everything should be fine now.
  19. ESPN says the game is being delayed is this true?
  20. when I was in little league my team made a triple play. There were runners on 1st and 2nd and the guy hit it to 3rd base and the 3rd basemen stepped on 3rd and through to 1st for 2 outs and then the guy on 2nd got greedy and tried to go for 3rd and the 1st baseman through it back to 3rd for the triple play.
  21. Yeah I saw that too. You don't see one of those every day.
