Brock Lesnar recently responded to WWE's claims that Lesnar's lawsuit against them was without merit in a paper filed to the U.S. District Court of Connecticut on 5/17. Lesnar also responded to claims by WWE that he violated their agreement for his release by appearing at a Japanese pro wrestling show in January. Here are some of the major points from Lesnar's response: -Lesnar claims he was "without knowledge or information sufficient" that WWE had invested time and money in training and creating the Brock Lesnar character, "The Next Big Thing" gimmick name, and his F-5 finishing move. He also claims to have been unaware that WWE had spent time and money to promote him and establish him as a "top-tier" headliner in the company. -He claims WWE's view of his contract is incorrect, leaving the door open for the court to make a determination on the issue. That point is made a number of times in response to WWE claims that he broke the terms of his release. -He also claims he did not breach his contract after leaving WWE. -He denies knowledge of being released only to pursue a pro football career, and wasn't aware of the parameters of his release. i feel sorrow for him -As pertains to mixed-martial arts or "ultimate fighting", Lesnar admits his amateur wrestling background would suit him well for such a sport, but denies he is "without knowledge" of other wrestlers who have competed in that sport. In regard to WWE's claim that Lesnar competing in a UFC type event would be a breach of his contract, Lesnar asks the court to make a determination on his contract and release. -He agrees that up until January of 2005, WWE had paid him $125,000 in royalties. He denies WWE's claim that it has "fully complied with all the terms and conditions of his settlement agreement." www.wrestlingplanet.com 782790
2. Hopefully, this is the start of Lowell getting on track. 784399 I agree completely :banghead :confused :cool :hat :lol :mischief :mischief2 :notworthy :o :shifty :thumbdown :thumbup :whistle
3. Once Lowell gets going, the offense should compensate for the pitching staff eventually coming back down to earth. If we keeping winning 2 of 3 games, we will be doing great. The Braves will not be easy to leave behind with that pitching staff though. I also think Burell did something to steal Lowell's mojo. 753208 i agree that the marlins are doing great if they keep winning 2 games of 3 but i think lowell will be in that slump for a while
4. what do they look like? what makes them loduca? 752888 752896 Ugly. :thumbdown 753134 if u were a true marlins fan u would like it unless u dont like paul lo duca which most of us like

8. LoDuca's been fantatic so far. I hope McKeon makes every effort to get Treanor plenty of starts though. Do everything possible to keep him fresh so that in August he's not wearing down. Starting with tomorrow maybe. 1:00 back to back starts in the heat... :thumbdown 752847 Lo Duca is doing good i agree hes been getting hits and catching balls the pitcher throws

12. If Perisho's control is there, which it has been this year, he looks pretty damn good out there. 752235 Although his control hass been rarer this spring than late last year. :thumbup 752479 i agree
13. i have done my part, voted for every marlins player wouldn't it be awesome (yet extremely unlikely) to have 4 or more position players start the all star game, sweet 751460 i dont think itll be cool

20. and that's another thing ... no one thinks that the people on this fans are "bad fans" or uninterested, etc just the community as a whole has issues ...... the problem isn't marlins fans, it's the general lack of them people on this board run the spectrum of fans ... old, new, traditional, immature, etc ... but all are fans and all would do what they can to catch this team just there is a general frusteration that the rest of south florida can't see what we do and help out the franchise, by supporting the team, going to games and forcing through a new stadium it is also frusterating for us out of state fans, because it takes effort to follow the team, put up with abuse at road games and have a general longing to actually see the marlins more than a few times a year (i know locals have their issues as well) because of this, when we see an empty home stadium, or opposing fans making a larger representation in the marlins home stadium, it is annoying 750183 Well said my man. I would say anyone who comes to this site is not a bad fan by any means. But it bothers me seeing the fans in attendence being drowned out by the other team's fans. Joke or not, there were louder cheers for Mets hits than there were for when the Marlins scored. And that is the essence of what bothers me. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one is who is bothered by this. 750227 You're clueless. When was the last time you were at a game in South Florida? Those things you discussed happen regularly. Especially during Friday, Saturday and Sunday games. The fact of the matter is that there are thousands of transplanted NY's down here...when a group of them start chanting the odds are that they will be heard for a bit and then booed down. That's the reality...face it. You don't hear anything when the Brewers or Padres come to town. It's a unique situation to South Florida due to the number of transplants. You'll hear similar cheering when the Braves or Cubs are in town well. It's not a reflection of pathetic Marlin fans but a the reality of the situation. 751038 Seriously, me and my parents were some of the only Marlin fans in my section who stayed all 9 innings on Thursday. Even early on when we were still sort of in the game me and my mom were the only people BEHIND HOME PLATE to give Mets fans a hard time and not let thier idiotic, drunken babbling go unchecked. I got absolutely no back up when I started a "Let's go Marlins!" chant and was joined only by moronic Mets fans making fun of me and my mom. It was a major let down to be nearly outnumbered in my own stadium. An apparent Met fan prescence is fine but a near 50/50 split is unacceptable. As a region as a whole, South Florida does deserve all the flak it gets. 752191 Why would you stay all 9 innings if we are losing 10-1? 752306 Personally if I pay for my ticket...I am going to stay for the entire time. I will never leave a game early. I feel its a waste if I were to leave especially if it were my money. 752782 tru dat
21. that paul lo duca trucker cap i got in the reds game looks like its for gurls but it was still cool
22. We have a lot of New Yorkers in South Florida.? They need to become more acclimated to the culture of South Florida.? Those that want to continue to cheer for their New York teams should be deported back to New York.? :plain :lol ? :lol 751130 :super :goodpost 751502 tru dat
