Wild Card
Why aren't there any threads about Paul Lo Duca's start to the season?
prinmemito
He's an overrated catcher. :plain :lol :lol :lol Maybe because we expect it from him? I know I do.
PhishPhan
Because this is why he finishes with the averages he does, since he succumbs to fatigue the second half of the year.
WildMarlinMan2003
Look at the way he is handling our pitching staff! LoDuca is under rated and I scoff at those who don't care for him as a player.
Guest Fritz
He starts like this every year. *Waits for July Willy call-up*
SHUfishfan
He's always been a great hitter in April/May it's the rest of the year I wanna see him hit like this.
Iowa
The way Treanor is playing, which is a very pleasant surprise, I hope this gets enough confidence from Jack that he can rest LoDuca more through out the year so I he can be more fresh down the stretch. Michael
I wanna see Treanor hit his first career homer soon...
PBMarlin
Paulie is doing great. And thank God, because for the time being he is providing the spark that is missing from Lowell. OBTW, he now has the highest BA of all the regulars at .353 And Treanor is hitting .500. How is that as a turn-about from last year's catching duo? CanadianFishFan
I am also a bit surprised that not many are giving him the props he deserves. Very impressive so far.

FishFan24
Compared to our option last year for starting catching, Lo Duca is the man. :mischief Lo Duca >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Castro

Marlins2003
He starts like this every year. *Waits for July Willy call-up* 752193[/snapback] Don't hold your breath lol Willingham is barely hitting above the Mendoza line in Albuquerque. Lo Duca is being given every fourth/fifth day off by the manager. LoDuca's biggest worry isn't fautigue, it's being injured, but that's every catcher's worry. Where have you been prin. And once Josh hits his stride, he will probably own one of the best averages in our system. What was Willingham's OPS last year? It was some ridiculous number. rferry
We should only wish our minor league system had a clone of Choi. Not every day you can get a guy that produces an out just 60% of the time and has 20+ HR power.
