Mr. Consistant
do you think giving him like a 2 or 3 year deal is asking too much of this franchise...im sure he would take it to stay here knowing he will probably be the closer here and mota can't be this bad for the rest of his career???

Marlins Starters
I hope my feeling is right but I have a feeling that the marlins good luck will have to catch up to Moel's soon enough....this will be his 22nd start and although he sould be like 12-4 instead of 6-9 he has pitched lights out for us this season

Rolen needs surgery - AGAIN!!
St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Scott Rolen said Thursday he's been told his ailing left shoulder will require surgery for a torn labrum that will sideline him for six months. Rolen, who underwent surgery on the shoulder after a May 10 base-running collision with Dodgers first Hee-Seop Choi, was placed on the 15-day disabled July 22 when it became the clear he was not progressing. He batted .205 while playing from June 18-July 21 with no homers and eight RBIs in 87 at-bats. Rolen met with Dr. Tim Kremchek, the Cincinnati Reds' medical supervisor, last week to get a second opinion on the injury. Rolen said the doctor that did the surgery, former Cardinals team physician Dr. George Paletta, believed there was a slight chance that Rolen could rehab without additional surgery. Rolen, who's batting .235 overall with five homers and 28 RBIs in 56 games, said he's weighing whether to attempt to finish the season. The Cardinals had a major-league best 76-44 record entering Thursday night's game against the Diamondbacks. Adrian Gonzalez called up
The Texas Rangers recalled first baseman Adrian Gonzalez from Triple-A Oklahoma on Thursday and optioned right-hander Scott Feldman back to Double-A Frisco. Gonzalez hit .229 with three homers and six RBIs in 13 games this season with the Rangers. In 84 games at Oklahoma, he hit .338 with 18 homers and 65 RBI. Gonzalez was the first overall pick in the 2000 draft by the Florida Marlins and traded to Texas with two other minor leaguers in July 2003 in the deal that sent closer Ugueth Urbina to the Marlins. He made his major league debut with the Rangers in 2004, hitting .238 (10-for-42) with one homer and seven RBI in 16 games. Feldman did not appear in either of two games after having his contract purchased by the Rangers from Frisco, where he was 1-2 with a 2.54 ERA and 13 saves in 42 relief outings. Source: AP

Official Raven's Flock Thread
Back when Kidman kicked ass. Then, he lost the kick ass attire when he became a Filthy Animal. Then he went to the WWE and lost his kick ass hair. Then he forgot how to wrestle. Then he looked even stupider with that stupid jacket thing he would wear to the ring. Then he grew out a dumb beard. Then he got fired. Poor Billy Kidman. 905128[/snapback] you forgot to mention somewhere in there that THEN HE GOT MARRIED TO TORRIE WILSON!!!
