STL's Martinez leaves game early
^^^ LOL castillo should be trade as soon as possablie , doesnt have great D cant run is an expert at getting caught stealing.. so he not worth 4 mill right now he makes a little under 5 mill, so basically he makes 5 mill, cant field balls as well as he once could, cant run like he once could..............

Braden Looper's New Entrance
Lets not get off topic....50 Cent is real good rapper. P.Diddy Sucks for real. He thinks he can rap but cant. What mnidget he is... Alright Back to the topic....Looper has been very dominant and is an important reason we are winning games. He isnt blowing out games no more. Let Looper decide what song he wants. I think he likes rock or something. i can tell you only listen whats on the radio

One Big Question, No Answer ... Yet
If they drop a few games before the all-star break against teams such as the Red Sox, Braves, Phillies, Cubs, and Expos, who all have records over . 500, they could possibly decide to make our worst fears a reality, trading away star players for prospects. i dont see anything wrong with trading "star" players like castillo for prospects and a decent cheaper replacement

Brad Arnsberg who?
many reasons why we have a lower era is part due to dropping losers liek nunez back to the minors and also rosenthal isnt all that great, if he is then why do we have all this potential in the pen and levrualt and looper have only shown consistency??

Ken Rosenthal's Inside Dish
Pudge Rodriguez DOES NOT call the game! Josh Beckett was right when he said, "Only I call the game." Pudge just tries to find out what the pitcher wants to throw... and thats why he sucked, for being hard headed, everytime he lost, he always said he threw to much breaking balls, or to many fastballs blah blah hes stubbern

Redmond for Wheeler, revisited
your greatly underrating everyone in the pen, besides nunez, tejera, almanza, neal and olsen have the potential to be better then anyone you named at there pay.

One Big Question, No Answer ... Yet
I have to agree with Danny here, although he has tied his career high in homers and its not even the ASB so maybe he is developing some decent power. Definitely slumping in the SB category with almost as many CS as SB. Mateo? With the Reds? Can't remember which team he is on, but I think any trade with the Reds will be a package deal with Penny included. I would love to get OF Steve Smitherman in that deal, but I think he is becoming untouchable. Hitting with power and is learning good plate discipline. henry mateo is with the expos, mateo has everything except hes 28, he hasnt been able to show his worth like ramon castro. vidro owns 2nd base mateo will see barely anytime there. castillo makes 4.85 mill this year loretta is making 1.25 mill this year loretta is producing the same as castillo, actually even better, more homers, RBI's, walks, OBP, SLG, OPS with 25 less at bats. just doesnt have as many stolen bases as castillo, though castillo had an advantage, hes stolen i believe 4 off piazza.

one of the top 2Bs in the game. That'll do it. Made famous across base ball last season with a 35 game hitting streak...longest ever by a 2B, and longest since....well you know all the records he set with it. That'll do it right there dannyboy. not really, he cant steal bases, hes not worth his paycheck and is not a star player, hes not close to soriano, kent, vidro and many other players. if your not going to have speed to steal bases then atleast have power. which he doesnt i dont see nothing wrong with trading him for a player like mateo and prospects. his value isnt as great as it once was. i say deal, unless he is willing to take a cut in his pay

STL's Martinez leaves game early
Castillo sucks? Batting .309 and is tied for 3rd on the team in runs scored......at the #2 spot instead of leadoff spot now. 2nd on the team in hits...has not only increased his RBIs in the 2 spot, but has shown some more power hitting 4 HRs thus far this season. So his SBs are down...moving to 2nd in the order from leadoff, and a hip surgery will do that to ya. he cant run, doesnt have the greatest glove, he barely got those balls over the fence and they were right down the middle, and he was batting righty, most pitchers are righty so he bats mostly left. he is good but not worth his pay check and not close to 7 mill which he will probably ask for.

One Big Question, No Answer ... Yet, *****Article**** by Josh Clinton i dont see any reason really why castillo is considered a star player?

Proves that we should definitely...
Viagra Man Nice stats especially in the hitters friendly league/parks the Topes play in. Only catch is that Scott is 34 years old, but I would like his experience in our mostly young pen. I'm also hoping Olsen can get it together because I think he has the mentality and stuff to be a 4th/5th starter or long inning relief man. that mostly young bullpen, alot of them have more then 3 years under there belt

wildcard, from the 2nd to last paragraph in your article, you seem to play favoritism and ignorant by influencing you want to keep castillo, lowell, lee......

Is there anything left in the farm?
HELL NO JP those 2 bases you got caught stealing last night must have you sprung lol..... "you dont send almanza down. Hes actually a quality lefty"..... okay this right leftie crap i dont buy it..... a great Manager doesnt look at it like that look in 94 and Flep Alu was having a great eyar with the Xpos and he had 6 men in his bul pen he had the best bul pen in the majors that year all righties...... STATS DONT LIE if you have to pick between Sanders and Tejera!!!!! and Almanza vs Boreland than let the Battle Begin...... Almana" THE LEFTIE STIFF" 34 innings pitched 4.98 ERA 16 BB ------------------------------------------- Boreland 92/3 innings pitched 1.86 ERA 8 BB he was Blazing comeing from da Minors than he got hurt..... Mike Tejera "the Inconsistant 1" 51 innings pitched 4.91 ERA 24 BB -------------------------------------------- Sanders in Tripple A 45 innings pitched, 1.79ERA and 43 K's he is getting a K every inning he picthes...... STATS DONT LIE..... moves have to be made, you want playoffs you have to hurt a few players feelings!!!!!! arent you the one that said pavano was a stiff????

info from Gammons
chill right there gator man we are 12th in the majors in offense...... yo yanks scored 1 run in 12 innings of baseball aganst the rays... Face it this Rays pitching in a year or 2 has a bright Future they were nice to watch..... dont 4get the double header between the rays and Yanks 1 game Yanks lost 11-2 to the rays,.. Offense is fine, and so far what i have seen during this series...... is cluth hitting.. Bul pen is what we need to wrok on...... Jack has been scared to let the bul pen in thats why Pavano pitched in the 8th when should have been taken out in the 7th... 117 pitches 4 Pavz... and 138 4 redman the other night... get da Bul Pen in Tact cuz we are killing the starting pitchers arms and by da end teh year they will have no gas left in the tank...... you are aware mckeon is the one who witht he Reds was known for rarely lettign his pitchers pitch past the 6-7, and always relied on his pen. he is not torborg, he doesnt let pitches always get a complete game, he looks at there endurance, how many pitches........
-
info from Gammons
i have watched both these losers pitch... i have had enough them..... you like Almanza good 4 u... but some of us actaully see the man SUXS... when will you understand that danny, i dunno... till thann keep defending ya boy Almanza.... find another lefty his price that can hold players liek he does, throw as fast as he does, k as many people as he does, and get off the mound as quick as him his onyl problem is he walks players to much, because he loses control on high speeds tejera just breaks with pressure on him, he cant come back from a 1-0 coutn or 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, hes only good with the firt strike, which he has to be able to not be scared to mix things, and try harder on getting the first strike
-
info from Gammons
you people have no clue or any info about tejera or almanza. go out and read reports on them before judging them that they suck
