he has been caught his last 10 or so chances....that's a slump....he can still fly around the bases.... but now he is turning into a legit #2 hitter.... i really have a hard time believing that Loria would tell you that much about Castillo and his contract situation well, we will see if im correct or not in the future. what i got from loria basically lowell = probably stay castillo = 7 mill to much he will be gone but whatever not to get off the basic topic

A-Gon doesnt have the skills. He doesnt get good jumps, and can't read what the pitcher/firstbaseman are going to do in pickoff moves. He has a great deal of speed, and even has decent acceleration (acceleration is quickness...which is a must playing in the middle of the field: SS, 2B, or CF)....and Ozzie doesnt send runners....at least for most of the season...under Torborg, the runners always had the greenlight....I'm guessing the same is with Jack (since the team is still built around smallball). 90 feet isnt a long way, if you dont have a jump you have nothing

He still has pitched bad this season...he is dominant but when Smoltz comes in you already know you lost. he lets in to many hits to be the best closer
