Yankees fans need to learn to shut up when you lose a game and a series and not answer everything with "we've got 26 rings" Ha! They are so annoying. I went on Friday and there was this one guy who had a seat right above the Yanks dugout who literally stood up each time one of our pitchers threw strikes and he tried arguing balls to the ump. EACH AND EVERY TIME. Amazing. I think I like the Mets fans better. It pains me to say that. I also love how when it they make it a 1 run game with one out left they act like they have already won the game. Just got back from the game, Had an awesome time!! Yankees fans need to learn to shut up when you lose a game and a series and not answer everything with "we've got 26 rings".Great to see a quality start from volstad, also clutch home runs from hanley and cody and a clutch hit from jorge.and a clutch win for the marlins 2 days in a row with everyone else in the divison losing. 39,739 Average attendance to the weekend Yankees series' in 99 and 01. I wonder if Super Saturday will pull in around 45,000. Also I'm not sure if they had a season ticket promotion in 99 and 01. First of all, it's not a "season ticket promotion." Promotions are for any ticket holder, and they are done league wide. Marlins have been doing them on week ends and the Home Opener forever. I could go back through my early collection of programs and tell you exactly what they were from the very first game, but I'm far too lazy to do that. However, this is the first time that I can remember it only being for those wearing Marlins gear. Maybe someone has a better memory than me. And because someone else brought it up.... I don't remember which WS replica ring, I'm pretty sure the second one, but there was some kind of foul up in handing them out. For some reason they didn't do it at the gate, instead after you got in you had to get in another line. That failed miserably and they stopped handing them out long before they ran out of them. The backlash was so intense they had to do it another night, but it was a little different ring. What is the promotion for wearing marlins gear?
