Its crazy how much Olivo bashing goes on these boards... Unreal! And rightfully so...most errors by a catcher in the majors and to top it off that wonderfully high batting average.

The Marlins lead the Majors with 31 homeruns in the month of July. They also smashed a total of 121 for the season! (which is 19 more than the Mets by the way) If only we had this crazy offense with the stellar pitching of last year!

I used to like evan cohen as he talked frequently about the marlins and had some good interviews about the marlins. now i don't even listen to his show anymore because it's either mets, yankees, or redsox. It's palm beaches gameday for f**ks sake!!!

yes i understand that...but he gave up 4 runs in that one inning. If a pitcher gets shelled a manager is supposed to remove him before the damage is irreversable. Listen...im not saying an injury isn't possible...i would just like to know how it happened and why he even got the start.

who's to say that this "injury" isn't just to save face? Didn't they say jorge julio was injured when they sent him down? Doesn't Willis throw warm up tosses? Don't the trainers look at him prior to starting? Just an old fashoned woopin if you ask me.

Everyone around us was commenting on how good those unis looked. And the players also loved them. You'd figure Loria would go sleeveless unis to save money ... (less fabric) ... Never ceases to amaze me how some can take a very good thread and turn it into a bashing of a certain player, management, or the owner. weather was perfect up until the bottom of the ninth...over 23,000 showed up. Im glad i made the trip. only thing i didn't like about the ring was that one side of it said miccosukee resort and gaming on it...lol.
