There's a great little place on 117th and Sunset across from a BJ's. It's called rockin burger, used to be a food truck called Yellow Submarine. Best burger I've had in a while. We just got back from Rock That Burger a liittle while ago. Really good stuff, had the make your own burger with some grilled onions and cheddar cheese and it was delicious. TheU had the American Breakfast burger with a fried egg on top and it was even better, gonna have that next time. That was it, rock that burger. It's got a bit of a nice vibe in there. I've only been there on Saturdays, is it always that empty? I usually get the chilly burger and pineapple sauce hotdog- I think the burger is American Werewolf or something. Nice place- nice wall art too.

Curious, Since when did players start getting 50% of the profits in any league- that doesn't make any sense to me. The contracts should always be enough, as well as benefits (health, life insurance).

I don't know how much blame you can put on Perez for the Marlins offensive shortcomings... But someone has to be the scapegoat. I am fine with this, Tino was a professional hitter just like Redmond and I'm sure he'll be able to teach these guys something. Eduardo was most likely the only cause of Lomo's and Sanchez's demise. Each hitter is different, you can't try to change their approach before they have matured at that level without ruining the basic foundation of what got them there. Trying to get Lomo to hit for more power, when he was a On Base guy killed him the past 2 years. You gotta let him hit for power after he gets the pitch he wants. I'll be okay with a 10 HR, 280 average from Lomo if he OBP 360-400. That line is pretty underwhelming for a LF/1B. That's not any better than Gaby was either. He'd get on base, which is the hope. Right now he was batting 240 something and hardly walking IIRC.

I would have to disagree with you guys, significantly, that losing Stanton would be worse than losing Cabrera. Miguel Cabrera will end up being arguably the best offensive force of his generation in every single way. Stanton might have a lot of power, but Cabs has a lot of EVERYTHING. Losing Stanton will destroy the Fan Base, Losing Miggy Didn't. If they want to show that a new ballpark changed everything, they can't let him leave for more money at any point. He's gotta say he wants to leave for them to be partially okay. If the Dodgers offer him $250MM then I can see the Marlins having to outbid and show they tried to outbid. Otherwise, think of the amount of people here who will literally root for another team. Talent wise, Miggy was a bigger hit. Fan popularity wise, i can't even compare it. Maybe like losing the Yankees losing Babe Ruth to the Red Sox in FA, when they want to establish they are a top tier team.

Medium well is my compromise, no blood still and less comments from people. I hate seeing blood in my food as well, can't ever get a rare or even a medium.
