  1. And when the numbers are "adjusted" to suit the point we should still trust them?!? Sorry, I'll pass. Numbers were higher. Also, consider the source. How does Joe goes from pariah on this site to trusted?
  2. I sincerely dispute this claim and consider it patently false. I have been to just as many games last year as this year I can honestly say there were way more people in the stands last year than compared to the this year. Don't believe everything you read.
  3. There's been a lot of talk but it's a mess that the casual fan doesn't see. They really have a lot of work to do to clean up their act.
  4. However if this season is any indication, they have a lot of work to do. This could be there way of indicating the STH fans are going to go through more growing pains. Not all STH fans are willing to put up with that.
  5. 90-95% of what you see here is identical to what has been offered in the past. Nothing really new. The purpose of the name change of fish family is the merging with the b2b due to the loss of personnel that quit. It's cheaper to combine though it also waters down the value of it.
  6. I'm not saying they will be this way forever. It behooves them to improve and I'm hopeful they will. But I'm not sure paying and waiting around for that to happen is the right approach. Maybe watch from afar.
  7. Short of paying people, they won't come.
  8. I highly doubt that but believe what you want. This year has been terrble for season ticket holders and fans in general. The energy at the stadium has been apathetic, systems haven't worked, people who were quality individuals in the organization have quit, and what's left is a mess. Season ticket holders that I speak to all agree. I'm guessing by your statement you're not a season ticket holder or else you would know exactly what I'm talking about.
  9. Reread the quote before you sensationalize what I wrote. It said tireless reached out to STH. If having a small town hall and generic email sent out is your definition of "tirelessly" that's pretty pathetic low bar. You may want to reevaluate your definitions.
  10. Of the entire article, this part stuck out at me. "At a more granular level, Jeter has reached out tirelessly to season-ticket holders, sponsors and business partners, along with prospective new season-ticket holders, sponsors and business partners. He has done everything but go door to door and place leaflets in mailboxes." That's bs. The only thing we got from jeter was one town hall for a select group of STH that I had to scream my way into and a generic letter emailed to everyone. Keep in mind, espn is the northeast love network so this puff piece article shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. What this year has proven this far is he doesn't know what he's doing (and I'm not referring to the on field dumpster fire). There have many misakes made in operations. Many of those mistakes were similar to those made by loria in 2002. He should have kept people on the business side from loria's to ensure that didn't happen but oh well. Learning curve had begun.
  11. Hello, best mode of transportation is uber or lyft. There are free shuttles but I do not believe they extend to the beach. As for pubs, best bet for you is the head back to the beach and go to finnegans. However, if you want to stick around the stadium for a bit you can go to the Clevelander that is in the stadium or the 5th base that opened up on the side of the stadium (they only serve beer and wine though). Now if you're looking to explore, you have a few bars in coconut grove, The Bar in Coral Gables, and Churchill's north of the stadium. I hope that helps.
  12. That's my section and row! Where are your seats? I'm 5&6.
  13. Pretty much every seat in the lower is good. Obviously, closer to the unfield is best.
  14. Oh, you were going to have to pay. There was no question about that.
  15. Glad we agree. Too late though. But hey at least can enjoy Sherman making money off your blindness to reality.
  16. I find it hilarious how you ignored the fact this organizationis being run by Sherman and they don't care about anything other than recouping their investment. They're not interested in making yet you both seem to want to believe there is some baseball rationale behind this. And no fact is Stanton was told they were going to do a tear down. Then he said he wanted out. Pitching was all that was needed. But who cares since this team will stay AAAA team for so long as this ownership group remains.
  17. Fire marlins legends with a soon to be fired president, treat us like morons by not acknowledging the obvious, firing a scout who cancer, and now blaming stanton for being traded away.
  18. Is I because he's done nothing but fuck up since he got here? Do you even watch the news?
  19. Andy Slater and anyone else can kiss my ass because I'm in the business community and he hasn't done shit. 2 years? 2 years? Ha! Pertuity! Get used to sucking! That stench is permanent until Sherman flips this team.
  20. A great read for all the morons who think all this is going to end well. The Marlins’ Giancarlo Stanton Trade Is a Baseball Disgrace http://flip.it/A7m4wJ
  21. He gave out turkeys, hosted the benefit concert (even though that was setup before him but we'll give him credit for it), and had a vague radio interview. That's it no business outreach. Sorry to burst your bubble. And hered another they're not going to win. Wake up from your dream.
