  1. It's the legal process associated with it.
  2. ESPN is a joke. Lol the fucking ESPYs. Here's an award about the award you won. Nobody gives a shit.
  3. Dunno man. I see the idea of a statue being that he's a loss for the game. Not really about the Marlins, here. The Marlins have had amazing players. It's the fact that Jose could've been a generational player -- both in skill and in passion for the game. The potential, with a career cut short, is the tragedy to the game. The idea that "who knows" what he could've been. The Marlins making a statue simply because he was a great player for like 1.5 seasons is silly. I would imagine it to be more along the lines of a memorial than anything else.
  4. I'm indifferent. From a league sense, it's acknowledging a potential to be one of the greatest cut short. From a Marlins perspective, no real reason for a statue. Details are grey. He will be missed dearly, but I'm wouldn't really have an opinion -- statue or not.
  5. The WWE thread of course
  6. I would venture to say life without parole is currently the cheapest form of removal of life from a bad apple.
  7. Better yet, every night can be Viagra Night at Viagra Park.
  8. Bullshit. Suicide should annul that rule -- suicide itself should be a crime in that case.
  9. How exactly does that work?
  10. Agreed, they can't. I'm not in line with the current wasteful capital punishment system we have, but I by no means feel some moral obligation to lock up a scumbag for life. Don't think we should kill him, either, so I'm happy with what is a cheaper system. And suicide is absolutely no joke, but in this case, Aaron Hernandez just did us all a favor.
  11. You guys think the MLBPA doesn't exist?
  12. Good riddance, piece of trash.
  13. Is pine tar on the chest protector illegal? The idea there of course being to use friction to slow down a ball.
  14. They wear it on Halloween.
  15. If Mathis bats above .220, I'll be shocked. He will probably bat sub .200, again.
  16. They trade places. Miami currently ahead by a long shot.
  17. Rocket science is where you study aerospace engineering but want to sound cool
  18. But to answer your question, Tommy Hutton. That's why we fired him.
  19. I was talking about their drawings.
  20. The team looks terrible on paper, but the beautiful thing about a new season is that anything can happen. Wait until mid-May to start expressing feels. IMO. But yeah they're garbage.
  21. Hechavarria scratched with rusty nail -- out 6-10 months with amputated arm. Its not a big deal
  22. I don't care whose Johnson it is.
  23. Thanks for the answer, Admin.
  24. I'm somewhere in Germany and my data won't load the image. Who are we talking about?
