Stanton just saved a grandslam from Haren, A PITCHER! Even though he has a great batting average.

Cliff Lee to the Rangers
Im aware of the revenue sharing but yet we still have major holes that have not been filled all year because he still refuses to spend even after signing Uggla and JJ. The Revenue Sharing is all fine and good but with a mandatory cap bottom, there will be no if ands or buts, it will be a mandatory cap bottom. Plus you have the benefit of the Cap will equalize the talent pool considering teams will not be able to pay ungodly sums of money to certain players. Granted you will still have certain teams out ahead of others due to the history of winning and the players taking paycuts to play for those teams, but It hink the benefits would out way the negatives by far. I personally like what it has done for hockey. Of course you would see complete outrage, im sure from the players association because you wouldnt see certain players making a ton of bucks per year if the owner wanted to field a decent team. Like i said, Im personally all for it. I know alot of baseball fans dont like it, but it think it would be great to level out the playing field on the high and low end.

Coming from a more Hockey background then Baseball, its close calls like this that make me wish there was some sort of salary cap in baseball. We can sit and argue it all day, but I like a little parity in my sports and get tired of seeing the same teams buy there way into the post season. With a Salary cap also comes a minimum cap amount, so Loria would be forced to spend more.

Braves Road Trip 9/27-9/29
Hey guys, I am planning on travelling down to Atlanta from NC for the Braves/Marlins set 9/27-9/29 for my "bachelor" party. Im just wondering if there are any "cant miss" activities while in Atlanta or at the Ballpark. Also how are the fans in terms of being receptive to opposing teams fans. Thanks in advance and if anyone has any information or tips for the trip, let me know. P.s. Mods, if this could be better suited in a different section, please feel free to move it.

Damnit Volstad, Get his ass out of there i dont care if it is the 2nd. Lets every guy get a free pass to steal a base and cant get an out for sh*t.

JJ and Gaby - Pitcher and Rookie of the Month of June
If anyone told us this before the beginning of this season, how many of us would guess we're in the position we are now? The bright spot is that both these guys figure into our long-term plans. Ha, I dont know, you talk to some, Gaby would be on his way out if they had the opportunity. Just Kidding. JJ has really bounced back from his injury with a good two years. As far as im concerned, best contract that the front office actually allowed to be signed and i hope he remains at the top of the rotation for many years to come.

If the pitching thing doesnt work out for Nate, lets put him in as our pinch hitter. He seems to batting better then Barden was.

Deals May be Coming
Quite personally, I would be beyond upset if Coghlan or any of the talented prospects are moved. At this rate i wouldn't want CC or Gaby Sanchez or Mike Stanton going anywhere.

6/30 Post Game
I might not be the smartest baseball guy on the planet and dont pretend to be so, but something has got to be done. Are holes are completely exposed and yet we do absolutely nothing to fix them. I just dont understand the logic of bringing back bench players after they have been DFA"D twice in one season, when you have other guys in AAA busting their asses off on the field. Personally I hate the thought of started your identity over in 2012 but yet having the same crappy team from the previous one. As far I'm concerned the FO has one more year after this one to get it right, and stop being blow-hards with the cash. I was multi-tasking during the game so i didnt get to pay a whole lot of attention but how did Sanabia pitch? I know the errors really killed the innings he was in.
