Cant really say anything more that hasnt already been said. Pitching seems to be the weakest point at the moment, from our starters anyway. I will be more worried around the last week of March if we are still having the same results.

Hey guys, Once again if this is the wrong section please relocate. I have been debating about travelling down from North Carolina to watch a game in Sunlife before they leave the stadium. I was wanting to wait and go when the new stadium is done, but as crappy as everyone says Sunlife is, I still feel like I would miss out on the History of seeing a game there. I have never been to Miami and would be a like a duck out of water. Im thinking of staying somewhere near Sunlife since im there to see the games primarily. Here are my main priorites with the locations. -Safety of my Car and I -Location to other surrounding stops. -Toll Roads and their cost. And heres the questions I have. 1) I have heard the area around Sunlife isnt the greatest, safety wise. Do any of you recommend staying near the Stadium? If not where are some good areas to stay that wont put me an hour away from the games but also wont get me shot or robbed. 2) Just for an example so i have an idea, How long would it take to get from Sunlife to the New Marlins Ballpark. 3)How much coinage should I plan on bringing for tollroads if i have to venture on some. 4) What are some things to do in the surround area? I dont want to venture to far south and i dont really care much about the beach. I am also debating taking Amtrak down, What forms of public transportation will take me right to Sunlife without breaking the bank? Would it be easier to rent a car if i go that route? Now as far as the actually games go, I debating about going to a monday tuesday wed Series. I know i can probably get walk up tickets and avoid the Ticketmaster fees but im looking at getting an infield box seat on the 7.90 wednesdays. Is that a ticket i should order in advance? In General, is there any other advice i should take about the ballgames? Thanks in Advance guys.

Seems like a large number of our Pitching staff are working out the kinks, hopefully. Good performance from Choate and Webb, Nice to see. Cousins is putting up a good fight to make this team in some capacity.

Tampa just got screwed on a check swing call. Looks like Young went around but 1st base ump called it a non swing. Following pitch, Young hits a 3-run home run. Sucks for the Rays.

I went to Dish a few months back at the start of the Baseball season. Dish had the Multi-sports package with all the FSN's. Dish network of course didnt tell you before you ordered it that all the professional sports games on those channels are blacked out., So all your paying for its the regular programming. I just got off that chat with them, and they kept shooting out the Canned Customer Responses. I got to looking and they were charging 7.00 for the Multi Sport. It was 5.99 a few months ago. The guy wouldnt give me a straight answer just more canned responses and had to send me to a different department. I was giving the BS. that they have the right to increase the price as shown in the contract I signed. I told them thats all well and good but why the hell are you freaking disputing with FOX when your already increasing the price of the freaking package its included in. I told the lady, its hard to convince the real victims, the customers, that DISH is looking out for the Customers best interest when your jacking up the price of the package without telling anyone but then still refuse to negotiate with FOX. Now im out my local hockey that just starts as well. Im beyond pissed.

Watching Miller suck in person from braves right outfield is so much better then watching on tv.

Wes Helms is a likeable guy but this year his play has been less than adequate defensively and as a PH. I wont say i hate someone for their bad play to the point some do, especially someone like Wes Helms, who i said, seems like a likeable guy. Heres hoping that something turns around since it appears we are stuck with him.

These are my feelings on the situation. I have long thought that adding another wild card team per league would make the playoffs more interesting. In my opinion, if a 1st place team cant beat a wildcard team in a "best of" series when it really counts then they shouldnt have won to begin with. The regular season is the qualifier to the post season. Even by adding one wildcard team, i cant say that we are going to be mediocre teams. If the Braves or Philies stay the lead in the NL wildcard depending on who gets first in the division, are you still going to say that San Fransisco or San Diego are just average in the league, if they stay 2 or 3 games back from the Braves or Phillies? I know a few arent going to agree with that because they dont like the principle of it.

Is anyone else thinking that we did alright letting Maybin have a chance again?

Your right, he didnt want to be traded. The way he worded the quote when he said it was " if im traded the season is over." Implying that he was valuable to the team and that trading him would be a sign of a wasted season.
