October 1, 201014 yr That is a truly epic failhorn moment. Why now would any sports fan subscribe to Dish ?
October 1, 201014 yr Just turned on FSFlorida. They shut down the channel and just have some dick talking about how FOX wants to raise the customer's prices. What a bunch of bulls***. The only plus in all of this is that we get a ton of new regional networks for free until they can solve the issue. The bad part is that I don't f***ing care about the Big 12 network, NHL, ESPN Classic, etc... From the type of rhetoric they're using, it doesn't look like it's staying like this forever. EDIT: Apparantly I get 34324343 baseball channels - but I can't watch any of them because they aren't available in my state. What is this sh*t? You take away my baseball and give me 345324343 baseball channels that I can't watch?
October 1, 201014 yr This kind of thing happens all the time. When the Heat and Magic start playing again they'll cave to public demands and bring it back.
October 1, 201014 yr I went to Dish a few months back at the start of the Baseball season. Dish had the Multi-sports package with all the FSN's. Dish network of course didnt tell you before you ordered it that all the professional sports games on those channels are blacked out., So all your paying for its the regular programming. I just got off that chat with them, and they kept shooting out the Canned Customer Responses. I got to looking and they were charging 7.00 for the Multi Sport. It was 5.99 a few months ago. The guy wouldnt give me a straight answer just more canned responses and had to send me to a different department. I was giving the BS. that they have the right to increase the price as shown in the contract I signed. I told them thats all well and good but why the hell are you freaking disputing with FOX when your already increasing the price of the freaking package its included in. I told the lady, its hard to convince the real victims, the customers, that DISH is looking out for the Customers best interest when your jacking up the price of the package without telling anyone but then still refuse to negotiate with FOX. Now im out my local hockey that just starts as well. Im beyond pissed.

October 1, 201014 yr I turned the FSN channel today and I'm not happy about this. There is no excuse for not working out a contract in advance. I'm glad I'm not under any contracts/commitments with Dish...if this doesn't get resolved within days..I'm dropping their service

October 2, 201014 yr I have been with DirecTV for 11 years now and couldn't be happier. Just come over to the Dark DirecTV side and you'll never go back :thumbup

Back in the days when they didn't even offer local TV channels. Had to have an A/B switch and go to antenae(sp) to watch the local news. But they had the NFL package. There have been some bumps in the road, but overall I've been very satisfied with them.

I probably only win this one because I'm older. Also maybe because I'm a Broncos fan and got tired of spending big $$$ every week end going to sports bars to watch them. We were by far the first in our group to get it so everyone would bring beer and food to our house to watch the games every week end. But.......They really do this kind of thing often?
