I like the idea of more interleague games. You do get tired of seeing the same teams all the time. It appears to be working wonderfully in hockey when the schedule was changed so that each east team plays each west conference team during the season. Cutting down on the number of divisional games hasnt hurt the rivalries from what can be seen.

I dont know if this has been discussed at lenght on this forum, but i wanted to get everyones opinion on expansion. I remember back in the day, I believe the Twins were talking about possibly relocating to North Carolina. Thats been around 15 years ago if i recall. As everyone knows, we got two leagues with uneven amount of teams. Alot of people like the idea of adding two teams and switching up the divisions. Personally, considering the MLB has seen record amount of attendance and profits in the recent years, i would love to see two teams added. I know Charlotte NC has been thrown around as possible location of a team. I would love to have a team in NC, but i dont think I could pull my alliegance away from the Marlins. What do you guys think about Expansion.

I raise my hand for someone that wears the Marlins and both blue jays hats. I have seen orioles hats up this way since we relatively close to Baltimore.

How much are the Suns charging to see them. Greensboro this year its 10 a ticket and im in section 107 row E right behind home plate, 5 rows up. There are no tickets greater then 10 bucks at GBoro. If you dont get to see them much, id say its worth the money. I would have paid well more the quadruple to see the Marlins in NC.

Yeah, Like i said, I can still listen to the games fine without 3g. Videos are almost unwatchable without 3G due to video quality and how long it takes to buffer. With 3G, the games should play fine with audio and video. Wifi is no worries.

Well shoot, i know second hand authentic Marlins jerseys are hard to come by. Atleast the new set for sure. You look on this board and there seems to be a good deal of fans outside the state, which doesnt do anything for ticket sells but still the Marlins have a fanbase outside the market, i just wish it could help the picture in Miami.

I was in the same situation as you MarlinInKY. I am an NC resident, also with an iphone. This is the first year i have gotten the package so i cant tell you to much about it. I bought At Bat last year and in my area, I get good audio. The video of the free games does alot of buffering unless your in a 3g area, which im not.

Yeah there definately was. I was thinking that if they are changing all three, why can you only buy the Away and not the other two. I wonder what the holdup is there. And the more i watch this game. I cant notice any teal in the Pinstripe uni. Well, it looks like you were correct fishheatcats, The Marlins are wearing the Pinstripe homes and the F logo is missing. It might just be me or its the lighting but I can hardly see any teal in the Marlins Script. I didnt want to believe they were changing up all three jerseys because the Away jersey is the only new one for sale right now on MLB.com, but i guess the proof is there.

The Marlins website has a new article up about the stadium. Look forward to a second webcam in about two weeks. My new addiction is checking the webcam everyday to see whats going on.

Like i said in the gameday forum, YIKES. Your not going very far with 7 walks. Not many are impressed with what Miller, West and A. Sanchez are showing. Hopefully something comes around.

I was just watching the Florida Panthers vs Carolina Hurricanes game and i cant help to notice the physical resemblence between Panther Stephen Weiss and Former Marlin Walt Weiss. Maybe its just me but they look awfully alike remarkably similar in appearance. Maybe an uncle or something.

Thats what i said, if your going to name a team after a fish atleast keep the colors water like. I love my Panthers and like I described a few post above, i could live with the colors.

What we have now is my ideal set. Not to much teal and just right. The silver dazzle fabric in the script really sets it off. The older teal is a little much for me. Ultimately if we had to change I would keep everything the same script wise and just changed the teal to a deep oceanic blue like the seats in the photo of the new stadium. Yeah blue is over done but I would much rather have that then bright orange. You really can't take away the teal though.

HA, you do here in NC. I can count 3 people including myself in the past month wearing Marlins hats. Of course NC has the the ties to the Marlins which helps a great deal.

That picture of Wes Helms and your boy made it look like he was having alot of fun and looked like a great player to meet.
