Pujols to Angels
I never really considered Wade a free agent, technically he was but I didn't think he would leave Miami, well I thought there was a chance but a slim one. I guess I should rephrase it as the greatest free agent haul of players brought in from other teams.

Pujols to Angels
If Loria and crew somehow pull it off where they sign both Pujols and Wilson this would be the greatest free agent haul of all time in any sport. Bell Reyes Pujols Wilson I don't know if they can get it done but man does it sound like they're trying.

Heath Bell signs 3 year / $27M deal
Does this make him our Vince Young?

Pujols to Angels
MLB Network: "From a position player standpoint, the roster is already loaded without Pujols." Talking about the Marlins.

Pujols to Angels
Long way down the line but I wonder if he signs with us for 9 years, mashes the majority of the contract and wins a world series or two if he will go in the hall as a Cardnial or Marlin? Would be very interesting.

Pujols to Angels
Sources: #Marlins increase 9 year offer to Pujols in meeting today. Do or die time for STL.

Yoenis Cespedes to Athletics
According to ESPN Boston's Gordon Edes, the agent for outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is telling interested teams that his client wants a $60 million contract. That's double what Aroldis Chapman received from the Reds. Cespedes is a workout wonder and has drawn the attention of all of baseball's large-market teams, but he carries many unknowns. It would be surprising to see the Cuban defector actually land a $60 million deal this winter. So far, the Yankees, Tigers and Marlins have shown the most interest. -Rotworld

Pujols to Angels
#Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria along with Mike Hill and Admin Beinfest are meeting with either an agent or team right now Pujols agent: Why should Albert sign with the Marlins? *Loria stands up, clears throat* Loria: 'CAUSE KING KONG AIN'T GOT S**T ON ME!

Heath Bell signs 3 year / $27M deal
He's the one checking in, right? That's a Marlins executive. He's putting in an offer from Loria to buy the hotel so the Marlins can kick out every team and have exclusive negotioating rights with Pujols, Wilson, Buehrle, and their agents.

Who Has Liked How Many Posts?
Like this and the Marlins will raise payroll to 130 million.

Pujols to Angels
He also mentioned his injuries and said lets see how he does now that he has his money. He did call him the most dynamic player in baseball when healthy though.

Pujols to Angels
I feel the media is already underrating Reyes significantly, dude is a monster Mike Greenberg this morning: If I'm the Mets, I'm not upset. Can't stand that little weasel, if Reyes signed with the Yankees he'd be raving about it.

OMG WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM?!?!? This isn't how it's suppose to be!! /ESPN

Pujols to Angels
If we land Pujols I wouldn't be surprised to see a LoMo and Gaby for Gio and other pieces trade shortly after. Gut feeling.

Marlins, Reyes agree to 6 yr/106mil deal
The marlins should start selling shorts and underwear because if we somehow sign pujols we will all need new ones If we sign both Pujols and Reyes...the city will collapse into the ocean.. Miami will also be the most hated city in all of sports. I'm quite fine with that. Would be a nice change of pace from all the NY/LA/BOS love.

2011 College Football Thread
Anyone calling New Mexico over Boise State tonight? If you don't see it, it's obvious you don't know football. Can't tell if srs. Sarcasm. Minor miracle we only lost by 45.

Heath Bell signs 3 year / $27M deal
I don't care what positions we sign as long as the guys we sign are talented. You have a greater chance of winning when you put as much talent on a team as possible. Heath Bell is as talented as anyone in what he does. Bell = better chance to win games next season and beyond whether it be 1 game or 10.

Heath Bell signs 3 year / $27M deal
So, do we get any mention on ESPN's morning shows like Mike and Mike or First Take for our Bell signing? I swear First take is all Football now. Literally. Once in a while LeBron will get in there. How many times can you debate who the best QB in the league is right now? Which really isn't a debate it's Rodgers. We gotta get at least get in on Mike and Mike. Well, which sports are in season right now that Americans care about? Baseball Basketball Football I know but the show used to have segments here and there about other things besides football and Skip Bayless. College football barely gets in. I still watch First Take even though it has gotten really annoying. Every show goes: Dallas Cowboys, 2nd best team in NFC? Tony Romo, a top NFL qb? Tim Tebow, multiple questions. Is Vince Young better than Vick?

*Starts playing Lil Wayne and T-Pain* If you got money, and you know it, pull it out of your pockets and show it and blow it.

ESPN still hasn't posted it on their MLB page. They're probably trying to convice Bell to renege and sign with Boston or NY. And if he did it would be breaking news on the front page of ESPN.com, forget just the MLB page.

Quite the splash just before the winter meetings. Warning shot to the league. PR move this b**ches.
