  1. Are we still talking about the same Tim Tebow who everyone in the media spent 3 years elevating to the level where Thom Brennanem couldn't stop talking about how spending 5 minutes with him made him a better person? I remember that. That was the national championship game against Oklahoma, right? That entire game the two things I remember most are that statement and the really lame hype job Tebow did at halftime with the camera right in his face.
  2. My baths include alcohol and lots and lots of sobbing.
  3. We get it Tebow, you're religous. You will be the greatest God fearing back up QB the NFL has ever seen.
  4. I think Arkansas wins the SEC this year. Still not sure who I like to win it all. Lamar Miller, Sean Spence, and the two safety positions for Miami should be fun to watch this year. Not expecting huge things out of Golden in his first year but should get us to a bowl game. The countdown to Mike Locksley's firing starts... NOW! At least we have the best TE in college football(Lucas Reed). If he actually had a QB to throw him the ball his stats would be off the charts.
  5. They keep saying it will just miss the east coast of Florida but it looks like it's heading right for the gulf. Maybe it will turn at the last second but so far I'm not seeing it.
  6. Po' Folks - Nappy Roots Thug Holiday - Trick Daddy
  7. By the way, been thinking about this since the Dolphins signed Burnett. Can we call our starting linebackers Cam and the Killer K's? :w00t
  8. Didn't Zach Thomas refuse to go to the Patriots because he hated them?
  9. Landlords that say when you move in everything will be in good working order and then when you actually do move in s**t is broken. Waitresses that rush you to order as soon as you sit down. You know what you want or do you still need time to look? I think I need more time to look on account of I just sat down 20 f**king seconds ago.
  10. I'm in favor of seeing what Jones can do at FS. He was a playmaker at Georgia, something the Dolphins havn't had at FS for awhile. I read an article the other day that said Daboll is just a younger Henning. Meh.
  11. Teen Nick playing shows from the 90's and making me really depressed. Doug, Clarissa Explains It All, Keenan and Kel, All That... where has the time gone? I need a drink.
  12. Burnett was a great signing. Major upgrade over Crowder. Starting linebackers of Wake, Burnett, Dansby, Misi. Absolutely sick. Too bad we have Henne or Moore leading the charge. Really?
  13. I'm surprised there hasn't been much news on Zach Miller so far.
  14. Philadelphia raped Arizona for Kolb. Absolutely raped them. A pro bowl CB who isn't even in his prime yet and a second rounder for a QB who has proven nothing. I shook my head when I saw it come up on ESPN. Could end up being one of the worst trades in NFL history if Kolb doesn't pan out. Actually Kolb was somewhat impressive when he got a chance to play iirc. If Vick wasn't there he would have been a fine starter. 2nd time tonight we posted in the same thread at the same time. GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HEAD! lol.
  15. Sproles to New Orleans.
  16. Maybe it was gonna be Borders Ballpark...

  18. Skip Bayless and Jemele(sp?) Hill are idiots for thinking Bush will be the Dolphins primary back. Daniel Thomas is going to be our workhorse back with Reggie Bush being the speed to his power. Way to do your research. As much as I havn't been impressed with Bush's career, I'd take a running game with a 6'0" 230 pound RB who can carry the ball 200+ times and averaged over 5.0 ypc in one of the best football conferences in college and a very fast RB who has been the best at coming out of the backfield and catching passes since entering the league.
  19. Reggie Bush traded to Miami as long as he redoes his contract. Never been a big fan of his just because he was hyped so much coming out of college and has never lived up to it. Still, he's a homerun threat and versatile. EDIT: Would take Bradshaw or Sproles over him in a heartbeat.
  20. Chargers have had a nice couple days, signing Spikes and keeping Weddle.
  21. With Orton, we're a better team. But are we really a much better team once we get him? I think it improves our win loss record maybe 1 or 2 wins. And hell no, the Dolphins are A LOT farther away from the playoffs than just needing a QB and RB. This team has major major issues. We aren't fielding a winning team next season. Kyle Orton is a better quarterback than Henne, but he's not a top 10 QB. I'd put him in the same category as Ryan Fitzpatrick. They are both really nice QB's to have for a couple of years, but you don't want to be relying on either of these guys to guide you into and through the playoffs. If everybody is content with riding a slightly above average QB for a few years, fine. But I'm not too thrilled about all this Orton to the Dolphins talk. You don't need a stud QB when you have talent across the board. You just need one who can move the ball downfield and not make foolish mistakes. In 2009 if we had Orton at QB we would have made the playoffs. Last season our QB and running game were horrible while our defense was good. Orton is a nice upgrade over Henne and has experience with Marshall. With Bradshaw they would have done a good job addressing the running game by drafting Thomas and signing Bradshaw who was second in the league with 13 20+ yard rushes last season. 4 out of 5 O-line positions are well taken care of with Long, Incognito, Pouncey, Carey. The only holes on defense are a pass rushing D-lineman, an inside linebacker next to Dansby, and a FS. The Dolphins would win 10+ games this season. You are a typical, delusional Dolphins fan. Way too big of a homer to see a team for what it really is in front of you. And now, we wouldn't have magically went from 7-9 to 11-5 under Kyle Orton. Stop kidding yourself with that one. That's your opinion. I guess we'll just have to wait and see who was right at the end of the season. I'm not going to get into an insult contest with you over who knows more about the game of football. Best of luck.
  22. I'm a Hurricane(football only) and New Mexico(any sport) fan. Was born in Miami and lived in Pembroke Pines until I was 13 when my mom married my step dad who ended up being a complete physco and got a job in New Mexico. Took me a couple of years but once I started to follow UNM sports I became hooked. Like the fact that most fans overlook them because they are in the Mountain West Conference. You have got to go see a basketball game at The Pit. That is one of the more famous basketball arenas in college basketball and just got a 60 million dollar renovation. When it's rocking you damn near go death with 18,000 crazed screamig fans.

  24. Dolphins are the favorites to land Ahmad Bradshaw. Broncos and Dolphins discussing Orton trade. If they get both done this is a playoff team. I would prefer seeing Daboll's offense at work before coming to this conclusion. You'd have to admit they'd atleast have the players to have a nice offense.
