The 'Canes should handle Kansas State tommorow. New Mexico better not lose at home to Sam Houston State. Though the way Locksley coaches I can easily see it happening.

Still upset Alford left for a better job I see. He recruits top transfers and highly rated high schoolers to Albuquerque while Iowa is still fighting for their first winning season since he left 5 years ago.

Dan LeBatard's new show on ESPN2
I think it's a good show. His dad is awesome. The Scott Van Pelt show sucks.

I'm counting down the days until college basketball starts. The University of New Mexico has enough talent to play with anyone and should make a deep run in the tourney. Even more talent than the team that won 30 games and was ranked #8 in the country a couple years ago.

Daniel Thomas is going to be a stud. I was pumped when we took him in the second round and couldn't believe it when Bush was being mentioned as the #1 HB. He has a bit of a fumbling issue that he's going to have to work on but he will move the chains in a big way for the 'Phins.

Henne was impressive tonight, lack of a running game and the defense killed us. Vontae Davis and Sean Smith need to step it up. I'm tired of watching CBs who don't make plays. You want to call yourselves one of the better duos in the league? Intercept a pass for once. Good luck vs Schaub, Foster(hopefully not), and Johnson next week.

2011-12 NFL Thread
I think this is the year Henne finally puts it together. He is already an accurate passer, he just needs to cut down on dumb mistakes. He's going to go downfield to Marshall alot more this season and with Bush coming out of the backfield, Bess, and Fasano he has quite a bit of weapons. I don't know if the 'Phins win tonight, I hope they do. It'll end up being a good, close game and I can't wait for it to get started.

New Mexico lost at home to Colorado State 14-10. Our young dual threat QB did look good though going 20-31 for 179 passing yards 1 td and 57 rushing yards despite being sacked 10 times. Arkansas is going to crush us next week.

New Mexico hosts Colorado State tommorow night. UNM has a great group of recievers that should get open often. Hopefully our Sophmore QB will be able to get them the ball. Lose this game and Locksley is in for a long season(again).

Long Season...
Sign C.J. Wilson. If Josh Johnson can actually stay healthy for a full year we have a top 5 rotation. If Josh goes down again, we still have an ace starter.

I've never played Elder Scrolls, sounds amazing. I'm gonna try it when it comes out. Played Diablo back in the day. Looking forward to seeing how the new one compares. Anyone play Rift? I heard it's like WoW. Intrigued by the Star Wars rpg that drops later this year.

I guess Randy Shannon didn't rule the team with an iron fist like he thought he did, huh? I find it amazing that guys like Willie Williams and Arthur Brown may have contributed to killing the program. Willie Williams and Arthur freaking Brown.

I really hope this doesn't get Miami football the death penalty but I wouldn't be surprised if it does. That's just too many names and who knows if more will come out.

Your worst job(s) ever.
Bagger for a grocery store. Managers wanted you to clear the parking lot and then got mad when you weren't bagging for customers. Then when you were bagging groceries they b**ched about the parking lot. And for $7.00 an hour I refuse to pick up someone's s**t from the bathroom floor. Let me guess. Publix. Did your store not have cart duty? At mine 2 people are on cart duty for an hour. I actually preferred that because time went faster when you were out getting carts. And I liked to walk all over the shopping center to find them. Anything to kill time. I'm a stock clerk now. I don't have enough time to do that job. But at least I have to think. Being a bagger is mind numbing, especially when its slow or dead. But Its better than being a cashier. At least you get to move around. They're pretty much stuck behind the register for hours on end. I'd go insane if I had to STAND in one place for so long. Also they have to worry about money and fake coupons(and fake money too)and their tray has to balance out and they have to deal with WIC and douchy customers. Cashiers are actually a higher job class than baggers but they have the worst job in the store IMO. Publix is the only job I've ever had for the last 14.5 years, but I'll be finishing my Bacholor's degree in Information Systems Security in December. So I'll be getting a better job. Maybe even in house, but computer forensics sounds really interesting. And you get paid to snoop through people's computers and cell phones. But part of that job is testifying in court and I'm anything but a public speaker. And I've never even been in a courtroom before. 34 years old and I've never been in a courtroom. I don't think there's too many people that can say that. I worked for two different stores in New Mexico. The first store I worked for was horrible about cart duty. That was the store that the managers would complain about everything. They would sometimes assign you to be outside for 3 hours straight. What sucked was the store was on a hill so when you were bringing carts in sometimes they would get loose and start rolling back towards the parking lot. I'm talking about 3 or 4 carts and you would have to scramble to get them before they hit any cars. I refer to baggers as the b**ches of the grocery store. They may get to move around alot but they take so much crap. At the first store if you disappeared for a couple of minutes the managers would go looking for you. They would bs and flirt with customers for 20 or 30 minutes while on the clock but if you saw a friend in the store and stopped to talk to them for a minute you would get in trouble. The second store wasn't nearly as bad but it was a store for lower income people.

Your worst job(s) ever.
There used to be a comedy club in the Marriot by Dadeland and I worked there as a barback. The way they set up the tip splitting was that after the shift the barback was supposed to go around asking the bartenders and waitresses for a portion of their tip. To me it was horrible going around asking for money and I quit in less than a week. I had worked as a busboy at another restaurant / bar (Monty’s) and there from what I remember after the shift the waitresses put a % of their tip into a pool and then the pool was split among the busboys. That made more sense. A week or so ago I was watching a show about all the drugs going into Miami in the 80's. They got into what happened at Dadeland back in 1979(?). Crazy stuff.

Is it safe to say the dolphins are going to go into the season with Chad Henne/Matt Moore and Reggie Bush as their QB/RB tandem? Daniel Thomas will be the primary RB.
