Hotcorner
Highest OPS on the team right now. I still think Cordero was a great signing, but at this point I think Choi needs to get the vast majority of starts at 1B. Use Wil once in a while, or to rest an outfielder from time to time. And speaking of Choi, in about 65 plate appearances already: 7 Homers, zero doubles. I'm sure that's not a record or anything, but I find that a pretty wierd stat. (not that I'm complaining mind you...)
Hugg
Especially since he was supposed to have "doubles power."
Craig
Cubs gave up on him WAY too early.... That and they never really gave him a chance to play, after all, Dusty hates rookies. Considering the Fish had to dump Lee's salary, they did a heck of a job getting a guy like Choi for him.

bman8316
I would love to see Choi starting finding the gaps at PPS and getting those doubles, but what he is doing right now is fine so I'm not going to complain. :thumbup

I still think we definetly got the better end of the deal but Clement is a fine pitcher.

We unloaded Alfonseca, and Willis makes much less money and it is with us for a long time. btw, no Willis would have mean no WS title for us. I know, I'm just saying that Clement's performance for them last season was a big reason for their success also.

'02 Clement was 5x better than '03 Clement. '04 might be Matt's best year, though, IMO.
rferry
Of course the x-factor in that deal is mister six fingers who helped us last year.
Flying_Mollusk
Yeah the irony was that the primary player in that trade was Alf and Clement was just a throw in. We could have gotten Taverez and Willis for AA and kept Clement if we wanted to.
FishFanPR
Remember how much Clement used to suck with us? Thank god we got rid of his ass!!!
