when will conine retire?

Featured Replies

i heard he wants to play until the age of 60.

i would be nice if he can say he was the only fish to play in the inagural game and season at PPS, 97 WS, 03 WS, and the last game at PPS and the first game game the new park. but it ain't happening.

when he does retire, i still think he will remain with the organization for a while. maybe a coach?

in about 10 years he might even be the marlins manager :lol

I like Conine because he's very businesslike. He's like a machine almost. And machines can last a heck of a long time! :)

what l like about him most is that before the game starts while running out to LF he says hi to us in the LF stands. that and on friday before the inning started he through a ball to some little kids and when my mom's arrogant SOB 40 year old 290 pound 6 2' boyfriend threw his hands up because he didn't get a ball. conine looked at him with a serious but disgusted look that i will never forget, he gave him a couple stares between innings.

Conine is the bomb.

Lol Marlinfan! I thought the reason adults wanted to catch a ball was so they could give it to their kids. This guy sounds like a real immature jerk! What would he want with a ball??

Conine sounds really nice. I wish I still lived in the Miami area so I could go to all the games.

Classic! :lol

2 more seasons

Conine has one more season left in him after this year. Then I could see him as a coach in the organization.

Since he is permanently moving to 1B he could remain a player a lot longer than if he stayed in the outfield. I'm guessing 2008.
