San Francisco has several games more than us, and I really don't think Houston has what it takes...so, that leaves the CUBS, which we play 6 times before the season's over! the question is....who do you think is our main threat as of now, September 5?
September 6, 200421 yr The Cubs only because we play them 6 times. Now this may seem awesome, because we can gain a lot of ground winning...but rememeber that if we lose, we lose ground. The Astros have been red hot lately too, so for me its the Cubs and The astros.

September 6, 200421 yr Its hard to tell which of three teams (Giants, Astros, and Cubs) is our biggest threat. The Pads are the only ones looking like they want to fade out of this thing as soon as possible. Anyway, I think the biggest threat for the Fish now is how they'll handle having to play so many games for the rest of the season.

Hurricanes mess with momentum.

September 6, 200421 yr houston. the padres are pretty much done. the giants are going to have enough troubles with the dodgers and padres. while their schedule is nice now...it gets tough as hell soon. the cubs are fading. maybe this weekend off will help them, but they have been fading. we will take care of business against them. then that leaves the astros. they are just as hot as us if not hotter. luckily for us...we are a game up on them. we trail the cubs by 2. lead everyone else. good position.
