Beltre over Bonds? :lol

Pavano's barely in the top 10. Ahead of him (in order): Clemens, Johnson, Peavy, Sheets, Schmidt, Zambrano, Perez, Carpenter, and Milton.

Lew Ford isn't a rookie.

So you can be a total homer and no one else can? Give me a break

LOLOL All credibility LOST with May24Bonds for saying ERIC MILTON, OLIVER PEREZ and CHRIS CARPENTER are ahead of Pavano..

especially Milton.. you are not a smart guy.

there's a reason why all the "experts" are saying Crosby is rookie of the year even though Ford's having a much better year.

You have to have spent less than 45 games on a big league roster, and he was on the big league roster for 67 games last year

taking 3 things in consideration, ERA, strikeouts, and winning percentage, and using a point system based on where they rank in those categories, here are the points:

1. Clemens 22 (10 for winning percentage, 6 for ERA, 6 for strikeouts)

2. Johnson 18 (10 for strikeouts, 8 for ERA)

3. Peavy 16 (10 for ERA, 5 for winning percentage, 1 for strikeouts)

4. Sheets 16 (9 for strikeouts, 7 for ERA)

5. Schmidt 14 (8 for strikeouts, 4 for winning percentage, 2 for ERA)

6. Zambrano 12 (9 for ERA, 3 for strikeouts)

7. Perez 11 (7 for strikeouts, 4 for ERA)

8. Carpenter 9 (all for winning percentage)

9. Milton 8 (all for winning percentage)

10. Pavano 7 (5 for ERA, 2 for winning percentage)

the thing I dont get is why Pujols would win the GG at 1B

575519[/snapback]

he leads in both zone rating and range factor

Big Unit gets my Cy Young

3rd in ERA (2.65), 1st in WHIP (0.89), 1st in BAA (.194), 1st in strikeouts (284) and 2nd in IP (237).

..and also, 3rd in complete games (4), 3rd in CGSO (2) and even while playing on the worst team, still ranks 7th in wins (15).

I still find it hilarious that he has Eric Milton, Chris Carpenter and Oliver Perez over Pavano and he is actually serious about it.

i don't know. Record may be overrated, but a guy with 14 losses just shouldn't get the Cy Young.

There's not that much of a difference this year.. But Lee will win it.. Pujols will win a GG before it's said and done.. Probably next year!

Oh and about Randy Wolf, did you consider that Marquis leads pitchers in hits?

I didn't realize what a solid fielder Pujols was...

As for the MVP, there is absolutely, undoubtedly no question who wins this in the NL...Barry Bonds hands down. And I'm not saying that as a Giants fan. It's just not even questionable.

If being a 'solid' fielder won a gold glove, it'd belong to Thome at first and Lowell at third every year.
