According to ESPN Insider today, Pavano has made a contract demand, 4 years $45 million. Also, it says that his agent is planning on keeping him unsigned through Thanksgiving and well into December. Finally, the Red Sox are expected to make an offer to him today,what they feel Pedro is going to do is going to influence how aggressive they are.
