Beinfest, who said Wednesday that any moves that add to the payroll must be signed off by Loria, said Friday the team may not be through dealing. "We're very pleased but we are not going to sit around," Beinfest said. "We are going to stay active and we're taking a contingent to the All-Star Game. We're on the look." The Marlins could be seeking one more right-hander for the bullpen and possibly a power hitter, preferably from the left side. The team inquired about the Mets' Armando Benitez, but Benitez is reluctant to give up his closer's role. To make room for Urbina, the Marlins outrighted pitcher Allen Levrault to Albuquerque.

July 12, 200322 yr i also think tejera should have gone done, he has sucked and we have phelps as a long relief lefty....levrault should be our long righty, cause i dont think we have a righty in there now that can go 3 innings....whatever, im just glad our starters only have to go 7 innings now.....now to upgrade at left field....... :mischief2

July 12, 200322 yr more deals??? we cant get Bentiez now, it wouldnt work the muts wantted Ryan Snare or A Gon and we gave him away 4 Uggey. i cant see what the muts would want from us, we gave up the prospects they wantted and the only reason we didnt get AB is cuz the muts were takeing too long. as you could see LB didnt wanna waste time and Pulled the trigger. im not mad at Uggey i look foward to seeing him today. a left hand power hitter??? where at, you want to Trade Lee now and break up the chemestry this team has going on. too much of a risk. its like an UGLY person getting Plastic Surgery you do it once, cool you look good, do it again okay you you cleared the very little imperfections you had. do it again you end up looking like Wacko Jacko..... on a sadder note KOBE is being sterotyped by many people as a RAPEST and its sad to see that people like me are doing this.. http://freeKOBE.com
July 12, 200322 yr I have a funny feeling about Juan Gonzalez. I may be wrong, but I cant help but think he is coming to our club. Maybe some of the price we paid for Urbina was to get Juan Gon too...that said, I dont think we overpaid to get Urbina - if Urbina pitches like he is capable. Juanky, like that big 3, but we have to wait til August to see them all in action. I wouldnt mind seeing Lee dealt for Conine and Lightenberg...

July 12, 200322 yr Vladdy is doing well in AAA? Thats the best news Ive heard yet bullpen-speaking! If we can get him back to his form from last season, our bullpen will be as strong as finding a quality BP pitcher through trade (yet we dont lose anyone!). I really hope to see the Impaler come back and pitch like last season. I cant wait to see him in the bigs again!
