What's next???

Now that Delgado is on board what's next for the Marlins? Will Encarnacion be moved? How about Stokes? Any chance of the Vasquez deal materializing? It's nice to have some chips to deal with...Beinfest, Hill and Loria are awesome.

I think it all depends on Conine's health. If he's healthy, I see Encarnacion and Stokes being traded.. For who is the question.

I want Vasquez!!!

Ya right. They would hang up on us if we offered that

Not so sure...Olsen is a very highly regarded lefty pitching prospect. If Vasquez is truly wanting to get back East the D'Backs may indeed be looking to move him.

bingo.......beinfest has this all set up nicely

Enc is on the first train out of Miami. If you look at Delgado's deal, he gets 4 million for 2005....sound familiar? Ah yes that's Enc's salary.

But who would we want for him and stokes?

I hear...the Astros need an outfielder and a first basemen to replace Bagwell when the time comes. :shifty

We won't be going after Vazquez, I'll be happy if we can deal Stokes and Enc for a promising pitching prospect, or for a cheap outfielder that can come off the bench for us next year.

I don't want to deal Olsen for anybody, he's gonna be very good, and we will need all our pitching prospects in 2006 when Leiter retires and just in case we can't resign Burnett.

Its actually much more than 20 million, its about 27 million freed up next year, and thats assuming that delgado will make approx 13 million next year.

Where can i find the exact details of delgados contract?

wat a contract. It was set up perfectly to accomodate to the team's needs, and also is a win win for delgado. If he gets the MVP in the playoffs or season he gets 16 million on a 5th year. Hope he gets those 30 points this year
