February 3, 200521 yr While politically keeping Lowell was hugely important, and no one should think for a second I don't love the guy, but if you had a chance to move Miggy to third it would allow the Marlins to make certain other decisions more easily.

February 5, 200521 yr imo the Marlins best move was not what they did, but what they didn't do. Not re-signing Pavano was a good move. The Yankees signed him to what, 10 million a year? If the Marlins had gotten into a bidding war, it would have been much higher than that, and he's likely a one year wonder. Leiter will likely do as well as Pavano for cheaper, and no way you guys could've afforded Delgado
