March 14, 200521 yr On Saturday March 26th from 12 to 2PM, Bob Feller will be signing autographs, the prices are incredibly cheap, only $15 for flats and balls and $20 for jerseys, bats and other equipment. On Satyrday, April 9th from 11:30 to 2PM, Miguel Cabrera and Guillermo Mota will be signing autographs, the prices are $39 for flats and balls and $49 for jerseys, bats, and other equipment. These are the prices for Cabrera, I believe Mota's prices will be a lot cheaper. These signings are going to be at 3942 N 46th Ave. on the corner of 46th and Sterling Road at Hollywood Collectibles. ================= EDIT: My vintage 1930's Bob Feller glove came today, but I just have no idea where I want to have him sign it. I would be able to get a large crisp signature on the palm of the glove where there is a lot of empty space, but then again if it was signed on the palm you wouldn't be able to see the back of the glove which has a buckle and all sorts of fine intricate details found on a 1930's baseball glove. So where should I have him sign it, on the PALM of the glove OR on the back of the glove up one of the fingers so the signature will be on the same side as the buckle and you'll be able to see all the details instead of just a plain old blank palm? Please vote on the poll according to the 3 pictures below, (i.e. 1, 2, or 3) I just added a crappy signature to the glove using MS Paint so you can get an idea of how it might look signed on each area of the glove... after seeing these 3 pics, where do you think I should have him sign it? PICTURE 1: PICTURE 2: PICTURE 3: Where should I get it signed?
March 14, 200521 yr Author I just bought this actual replica 1930's-40's game model glove that Bob Feller used, great price too. http://www.pasttimesports.biz/products/bb1.html They're great people, if you buy one tell them John that's going to the Bob Feller signing recommended you :thumbup .
March 14, 200521 yr Mota is $25 for flats and balls, which is ridiculous when you consider the HOFer Feller who was better than Mota will ever be, is doing it for 15. (flats and balls)
March 15, 200521 yr Damn just go to Spring Training for those prices, can pay for tickets in bleachers for that and get them both and more.
March 15, 200521 yr Author Mota is $25 for flats and balls, which is ridiculous when you consider the HOFer Feller who was better than Mota will ever be, is doing it for 15. (flats and balls) 710325[/snapback] I agree it's ridiculous that Mota's prices are higher than Bob Feller who is an American hero and hall of famer. Although Feller never did it for the money unlike other players, his items have always been cheap and almost all of the money that he earns from autograph signings goes back into his museum in Iowa.
March 15, 200521 yr Bob Feller is also a signing whore. You can look it up and see his autograph is worth nothing anymore, because he signs all over all the time. Not that that's a bad thing, but because of that, his prices are cheaper. $25 for Mota is expensive but I remember last year's prices for Abe Nunez and Redmond were 20-25 as well, and if you're comparing it to that, I'd rather have Mota than either of those two.
March 15, 200521 yr I got a Feller autograph about 10 or 12 years ago on a hardball at a minor league game
March 15, 200521 yr Feller is cheaper because you will also have to suffer through him telling you how great he is.....how he was the best pitcher of his time....blah blah blah.... If you think you like that sort of thing, ask about his book.... that will cure you of wanting to talk to talk to him....

Man, where else can you go and talk baseball with a hall of famer? Most players want to sign their name and move on, not Feller. And he is one of the greatest pitchers of his time. Most people get a ball, picture, or bat signed... but when I show up there with a vintage glove that he actually used to use I hope he says something about it and starts talking to me about the good old days or something :thumbup . I can't wait to meet him.

March 17, 200521 yr I guess I should take my son to this to get his ball signed----- How early do you think I should go to this? We went to a Mike Lowell signing last year at the Coral Square mall and it wasn't crowded at all....it was great... I am sure this one won't be like that.
March 17, 200521 yr I don't think Hollywood Sports Collectibles will be that crowded for the Marlins signings.

I paid $39 for the autograph and I can't even remember what they charged me for an official world series ball. But, it was worth it to me....he's one of my faves and we got like 3 pictures with him. I do wish they would let you get one other thing signed also....but i'm glad i went and it's so close to my house - how could i have not gone!! LOL
