Fire Bill Robinson?

Weren't 5 of those in one game?

End of the 6th. Still 1-0 Nationals.

WOW! We are really struggling! Bill Robinson is not doing his job :confused

This goes back at least a year. I like veterans, particularly old men like me.

But, I know of no one singing the praises of Bill Robinson as a Hitting Coach.

I asked last year. And, now, this year.

Wiley comes in and hangs up a dumb-looking string target for the pitchers.

Soon after, the pitchers admitted it helped. Wiley did something.

Robinson does nothing.

Jack is nimble, Jack is quick, Jack burns his ass on a candle-stick named Robinson.

Yeah, let's fire our hitting coach because we are not hitting in Spring freakin' Training...oy vey.

If this problem persists in May then fine...I'll condone a shake-up...but until are regular starting lineup takes the field each day I'm inclined to give Robinson the benefit of the doubt.

Too bad Dillon & JWill aren't doing squat...might have made Robinson look better. At least Aguila is swinging a decent bat.

no..not hitting last year either. i remember the frustration with him.

Two years Robinson has done squat.

So, you'll "condone" in May?

Put Harris in as Hitting Coach. He might actually do something.

The hitting looks solid :plain

It wasn't Robinson's fault we had a gaping hole and an absence of left-handed power in our lineup. Let's see if our off-season acquisition - Carlos Delgado - (remember him?) has the positive effect on the lineup many are anticipating.

I see Delgado hasn't done much this Spring...would you say that Delgado's performance is attributable to Robinson deficiencies as a hitting coach as well?

:mischief2

End of the 8th. Still 1-0 Nationals.

Well atleast Beckett gave us a chance to win :lol

Game Over. Nationals win 1-0.

Zach Day gets the win and Josh Beckett (unfortunately) gets the loss.

WOW! Thats all I can say! How many hits did we get?
