JUPITER -- The Florida Marlins today announced the following roster moves: infielders Robert Andino and Admin Barnes, outfielders Jeremy Hermida and Mike Colangelo, catcher Ryan Jorgensen, and pitchers Bryan Corey and Frank Castillo were re-assigned to minor league camp. The announcement was made by Senior Vice President and General Manager Admin Beinfest.

These moves leave the Marlins with 37 players in Major League camp.

So ends our adventure into the lives of Major Leaguers.

Good luck in the minors, Jorg.

Jorg :(

Well awesome job this spring

And we are down to 37...Opening day is almost here

jorg will be fine.

get some sperience in AAA and then be ready for the show soon.

I think either Treanor will get the back up and we'll have Willingham or Lenny be the emergency catchers or we'll keep both De Felice and Treanor on the big league roster. I have a feeling they want to allow Jorg to start in AAA and improve his hitting so that he can make it up to the big show soon as a backup.

It was going to happen sooner or later. Thanks for all the journals Jorg. Perhaps you can let us know how things go in minor league camp?

Harris can't make the final roster. Spring Training has to count for something when making the roster, and a .138 average is bleh.

Lenny Harris was hitless in four at-bats tonight and is 4-for-29 with no extra-base hits this spring.

It's a good thing Harris no longer has to compete for jobs. He's still expected to be Florida's 25th man.

I jsut don't get it...retire already Lenny

Well Lenny is reliable whenever Jack may think the Marlins have a rally that is lasting too long. :confused

I think we all agree Lenny shouldn't be on the final 25 man roster, but as it has been stated, looks like he will be back this season. Go Lenny?!

Let the man be on the roster.

None of you seemed to mind when he was giving a spark to the team when he was in the lineup for a week or when he was playing the role of Gagne Slayer.

I don't want Harris on the team, but there's no way he should leave this team. Find any solution possible that puts lenny in the dugout without having him on the roster and we have found our ideal situation.

Lenny can stay on the roster... if

1. He gets no at bats,

2. Willingham is the back-up catcher, and

3. we trade Matt Perisho for Brooks Kieschnick (sp?)

Castillo is going to prove to be mighty valuable reserve in AAA, but hopefully never has to pitch in the majors this year.

That I would love

Delgado is only hitting .111 in spring training, looks like we're gonna have to leave him off the opening day roster :plain.

Delgado is a proven MVP caliber player and had a two run double tonight. Harris is a proven .200 hitter and grounded into a double play tonight.

I'd rather have that spot filled with someone who can produce. If he is not going to get at-bats, make him a coach.

Teams don't normally release 40+ year old players who hit .211 for nothing.

Harris is the all-time pinch hit leader, he has proven he can hit of the bench.

Perhaps the Marlins should sign Rickey Henderson since he had such a great career. :plain

I hope Jorgenson can expand his journal into the minor league season.
