April 12, 200521 yr I have started a rating system from 1-10 on how confident i am while watching the Marlins pitching staff.....I'm tempted to hear all of yours. 10 - No one 9 - Mecir, 8 - Josh, AJ, Mota, Perisho vs. Lefties 7 - No One 6 - Dontrelle 5 - No One 4 - Leiter, Moehler, Ish 3 - Alfy, Jones, 2 - No One 1 - Bump, Perisho vs. Righties How about you??? April 12, 200521 yr 10 - Josh (he's shown me nothing to suggest he's not on top of his game right now) 9 - No one 8 - Dontrelle, Mota, Mecir 7 - AJ (he needs to work on his temporary concentration lapses), Antonio 6 - Leiter, Moehler, Jones, Bump 5 4 3 2 - Perisho (he's awful... hope Riedling takes his place) 1 No comment on Valdez since he hasn't piched yet.
April 12, 200521 yr 8 to Perisho vs Lefties? 738912 Yeah, why not??? He owns Abreu, Thome, Floyd and JD Drew....all of the major lefties from the NL East in past years.
April 12, 200521 yr 10-none 9-Josh 8-Mota, AJ 7-Dontrelle, Alfonseca 6-none 5-Bump, Leiter, Jones 4-Mecir 3-none 2-Moehler 1-Perisho
April 12, 200521 yr Does anyone know if Matt Perisho has a guaranteed contract? I'd really prefer to send him down to AAA when Riedling comes back instead of Bump. I like Bump now. He's pitched very well.
April 12, 200521 yr 9 - Josh 8 - Mota 7 - Willis 6 - Mecir, AJ, Alfonseca 5 - Bump 4 - Moheler, Leiter 3 - Jones 2 - No One 1 - Perisho vs Anyone

April 12, 200521 yr Based on what I've seen so far: 10 - No one 9 -Josh 8 - Dontrelle 7 - Mota, AJ 6 - Leiter, Perisho vs. Lefties, Mecir 5 - Moehler, Jones 4 - Alfonseca 3 - Valdez 2 - Perisho vs. Righties 1 - Bump
April 12, 200521 yr I'm not certain, but that doesn't mean he can't still be sent to AAA. As long as the Marlins pay his full salary.
April 12, 200521 yr I'm not certain, but that doesn't mean he can't still be sent to AAA. As long as the Marlins pay his full salary. 739004 Might be worth sending him down instead of Bump when Riedling comes up. Bump's really impressing me right now. I'd much rather have him come in than Perisho.
April 12, 200521 yr 10-none 9-Josh 8-AJ, Mecir 7-Dontrelle, Jones, Mota 6-Leiter, Moehler 5-Bump, Alfonseca 4-Valdez, Perisho vs. LH 3- 2- 1-Perisho vs. RH
April 12, 200521 yr 10- Josh, AJ, Mota when it's House of Pain time 9- 8- Dontrelle, Todd Jones, Mecir 7- Dragon Slayer 6- Moehler, Mota when it doesn't mean anything 5- Bump 4- Perisho, Valdez 3- Leiter 2- 1- Oh, oh, let's do hitters now!
April 12, 200521 yr 9 - Josh 8 - Mota 7 - Willis 6 - Mecir, AJ, Alfonseca 5 - Bump 4 - Moheler, Leiter 3 - Jones 2 - No One 1 - Perisho vs Anyone 738925 You feel more confident with Bump out there than Leiter? Leiters career ERA is 3.35. Bump's is 5 ERA. No way...I'll take Al anyday.
April 12, 200521 yr This is dizzying. 10... 9....Josh 8....Willis 7....A.J. 6.... 5....Mota 4....Leiter 3....Alfonseca 2...Mecir 1...all the rest
April 12, 200521 yr Realizing of course that all this is subjective, I'm surprised how low Jones is being rating my many (not all of you). He and Mecir have done everything they've been asked to do so far this season.

It's all a matter of opinion. How soon that we forget that Nate is a former first rounder, just like the (gasp) "almighty" Beckett - who, by the way, is still only 2 games over .500. You say that Beckett has always had potential and can have a career year; why can't Nate, who also "has potential" have a career year as well?
