Guest FishFanInPA
I have started a rating system from 1-10 on how confident i am while watching the Marlins pitching staff.....I'm tempted to hear all of yours. 10 - No one 9 - Mecir, 8 - Josh, AJ, Mota, Perisho vs. Lefties 7 - No One 6 - Dontrelle 5 - No One 4 - Leiter, Moehler, Ish 3 - Alfy, Jones, 2 - No One 1 - Bump, Perisho vs. Righties How about you??? Right now i feel most confident about Mecir, Josh, AJ until his mental breaks, Mota and Perisho against Lefties.

prinmemito
10 - Josh (he's shown me nothing to suggest he's not on top of his game right now) 9 - No one 8 - Dontrelle, Mota, Mecir 7 - AJ (he needs to work on his temporary concentration lapses), Antonio 6 - Leiter, Moehler, Jones, Bump 5 4 3 2 - Perisho (he's awful... hope Riedling takes his place) 1 No comment on Valdez since he hasn't piched yet. prinmemito
Does anyone know if Matt Perisho has a guaranteed contract? I'd really prefer to send him down to AAA when Riedling comes back instead of Bump. I like Bump now. He's pitched very well.

rferry
I'm not certain, but that doesn't mean he can't still be sent to AAA. As long as the Marlins pay his full salary.

I'd much rather have him come in than Perisho.

WildMarlinMan2003
9 - Josh 8 - Mota 7 - Willis 6 - Mecir, AJ, Alfonseca 5 - Bump 4 - Moheler, Leiter 3 - Jones 2 - No One 1 - Perisho vs Anyone 738925 You feel more confident with Bump out there than Leiter? Leiters career ERA is 3.35. Bump's is 5 ERA. No way...I'll take Al anyday.

Marlins2003
Realizing of course that all this is subjective, I'm surprised how low Jones is being rating my many (not all of you). He and Mecir have done everything they've been asked to do so far this season.

No way...I'll take Al anyday. 739193 What's the matter with that? It's all a matter of opinion. How soon that we forget that Nate is a former first rounder, just like the (gasp) "almighty" Beckett - who, by the way, is still only 2 games over .500. You say that Beckett has always had potential and can have a career year; why can't Nate, who also "has potential" have a career year as well?
