April 17, 200521 yr he's an idiot. 745466 what happened? EDIT: NM, read it in game thread.
April 17, 200521 yr he's an idiot. 745466 what happened? 745510 ok. Lo Duca hits what looks like a double off the LF wall, upon replay its clearly not and the umps talk about it and reverse the call(they obviously didnt see the replay) Jack comes out and argues... as Jack is going back to the dugout, the bullpen doors open and Alfonseca raises his arms in disgust, and gets tossed from 250 feet away
April 17, 200521 yr Alfonseca is a hero!!! 745406 :thumbup We think alike! Anyone who does something like that really demonstrates a passion and desire to win. A-Squared is a winner in my book.
April 17, 200521 yr In other news, Jack actually argued a call today. Maybe since he woke up early for Mass he had energy.

April 17, 200521 yr With Riedling not yet ready to pitch in what might have been a tight game situation, it may not have been the smartest thing for AA to do. On the otherhand it turned out to be a meaningless piece of theater so no harm done. This umpiring crew may have had a short fuse after all the trouble they had in the previous series combined with every NY newspaper acknowledging that they blew the Cabrera call yesterday. AA was the wrong guy in the wrong place and an easy target for their collective frustration.

April 18, 200521 yr "And.....someone has been tossed.....someone is on the field! What is he doing on the field? I have no idea why he is on the field." :lol Now if this was WCW, the call probably would have sounded something like this: "And, what's this? Alfonseca's on the field! OMG ALFONSECA'S ON THE FIELD! I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS, OH MY GAWD THE INSANITY!"
April 18, 200521 yr AA :notworthy ....only a man with six fingers could pull off such a heroic stance :notworthy
