Where is the Panic Button?

I'm not going to argue about Jeter with 2 Jeter homers.....it will go nowhere.

And wow, on a side note, the Orioles gave the Red Sox a BEAT DOWN tonight at Fenway.

Sadly I find myself rooting for Boston to beat Baltimore in hopes of keeping them in check. The enemy of my enemy is my friend :plain

And how much of that 36 is Mike Sweeney?

Yanks fall back to the .500 mark.

Maybe the declaration that the Yanks are back was a bit premature.

The MLB will enact a special rule so the Yankees will make the playoffs this year even if they finish with 100 loses.

Why do you care so much about the Yankees?

I wouldnt mind the Yankees losing 6 and then winning 12 ... going 18-2... it is still considered early in the season, I do atleast, I am taking each game as it comes and I don't worry unless they are playing like this in August

I don't, but the smug Yanks fans have been very quiet during this losing streak, after claiming greatness during their hot streak to get back in it.

  • 2 weeks later...

Jason Giambi, walk off 2 run shot in the 10th, upper deck..... only a matter of time

I was thinking when I saw this is that a sleeping giant is about to wake up.

They will trade Womack to the Padres, get some prospects, and then ship those prospects for another piece.

1-1 so far tonight following his big hit last night.... big rbi double in the 2nd and then a hbp and a walk... 2 runs scored, and the other he was gunned out at home

When will this darn thread die?

Oh, and even Giambi is going to stumble on good games in a season that has 162 of them.

He went 7 innings last start .... but he was on fire no doubt

The Yankees radio announcers said it was his 2nd straight CG (I was gone for his last start so I didn't really follow it too much)... oh well. I'll take that too. :thumbup

When the Yankees make the playoffs.

Ill make sure of it.

P.S. - The Yankees are not back...yet.

Derek Jeter hit his first career Grand Slam followed by a solo shot, giving him 8 for the season. Wang also pitched amazing and could have gone the distance... Brown on the DL now so maybe it's time to trade for Roger Clemens :evil
