July 28, 200323 yr The trade for R.White is on the table but do the Marlins have second thoughts with the way Cabs is playing? Well I thought I ask this question but it appears this question changes ever game everday. Here's a couple of relief pitchers that are or could be on the block come Thursday 1.RHP David Weather( a good set-up vet but it's believed that the Mets don't want to trade him...could they be trying to drive up the price?) 2.LHP Mike Stanton (a good left-handed pitcher BUT $$$) 3.Scot Williamson( another very good set-up guy but the price is too high a quality young starter) 4.RHP Mike DeJean( a closer???? average at best) 5.LHP Scott Schoneweis ( the Angels have had him on the block but why?) 6. Anybody on the Brewers and D-Rays bullpen My favorite is LHP Eddie Guardado(free agent at season end) but, I just don't know if the Twins feel they are still in it? thoughts???
July 28, 200323 yr the only one i would want is schnoneweis but i would take them all happily they're all good relievers, your bullpen can never be too strong
July 28, 200323 yr My God!!! It seems like everyday there's a new person we can trade for. Endless possibilities... I really wish I had some sort of mental connection with Beinfest to find out what he's up to in that office of his... :banghead
July 28, 200323 yr i got a feeling who he's gonna trade for but i'm gonna be quiet and see by thurs. if i'm correct
July 28, 200323 yr i got a feeling who he's gonna trade for but i'm gonna be quiet and see by thurs. if i'm correct Heh, it'd be funny if Wild Card or Admin started up another one of their "Pick a Fish" or "MVP" threads in which we could predict the trade and the winner, well uh, yeah the winner wins.
July 28, 200323 yr maybe the winner will get a free pair of founders club seats compliments of Admin lol

July 28, 200323 yr I would love to get Stanton he has a lot of playoff experience which is something that we have practically none of.

July 28, 200323 yr Pudge should have some... But you're right, I don't think many (or any) of our pitchers do. Pudge's experience is pretty much all losses, lol. So I'm not sure how much that helps.
July 28, 200323 yr David Weathers! He is a Groundball pitcher and always gets out of tough Jams! I would love someone in the Rays Bullpen maybe Jorge Sosa or Jesus Colome...

July 28, 200323 yr Did the Rangers made the playoffs in the early 90's and when Ryan was playing? If so then pudge may have some post season experience. Also I may be dreaming here but what about Graves? He's sucks right now because he's starting but is one heck of a closer.
July 28, 200323 yr Hey EdCanes can Scott Podsednik be had? I really like watching this guy play. A good find by Melvin. :thumbup

Rangers made the playoffs with Pudge in 1996, where they lost 3-1 to the Yankees in the first round, again in 1998 when they again lost to the Yankees in the first round 3-0, and once more in 1999 and AGAIN lost to Yankees first round 3-0. Pudge was AL MVP in 2001, too.
