He was rushed up IMO because hes Loria's pet project. Another full season in the minors and he will be a very solid #4 starter.

How can a soft throwing righty become a first round pick?

This is what intrigues me. Would the Marlins trade another "big league arm" or would this turn into some kind of 4 way deal.

I dont who that would be...wont be bautista, hutch, or holdzkom (considered a top 5 relief prospect) ...could be nic ungs who had a nice start last night, but is more expendable then these guys...maybe one of our Jupiter guys who are all performing well...but it said ML arm so that means a Neal, Wayne, Vlad, Levrault.

Im not sure...he came from stanford right? And hes not that soft tossing...90's fastball.

Unfortunately Larussa would probably do the same thing. Dan Haren was rushed to the Majors out of desperation as well, but is doing well so far.

Marlins will not give-up any arms. The Cardinals know this...

I thought his fast ball hit high 80's...I don't mind losing Wayne anyways.

Don't forget about Rick Ankiel, he still hasn't recovered from being sent to the majors prematurely, and is in AA i believe.

Were taking to long to do deals by tommorow we won't be able to do a good trade!

Maybe we can ship almanza to the cardinals to make the trade even!
