RockyMountainMarlin
Anybody going to the series next week in Atlanta? I didn't get tickets yet, but should be at probably 2 of the games. It will be my first time at Turner field. Whats the best way to get public transportation to the stadium? So far it seems that I can take a cab or MARTA to 5 points and then a stadium shuttle bus. I'll be at all three games. the way you suggest is the best way. I usually just drive down though, its not as much of a hassle and the true Atlanta way to go anywhere. I plan on just buying tickets at the gate as well, isn't usually a problem.
WildMarlinMan2003
Tim Hudson was placed on the 15 day DL! We need a sweep in this series.

I might try to get down there early to see batting practise and try to get a picture or two.

RockyMountainMarlin
Weather sucks today. Cloudy and rainy. I'm probably going to try to get tickets by the Marlins dugout.
musk
the braves have some nice ticket deals on tuesday night games. i think its $8 for 2 tickets. the seats are in the upper deck on the first base line but they are NOT bad seats. espeicially for the price. driving to the stadium is the easiest. AMPLE parking and EASY traffic flow. i went to turner about 2 weeks ago for braves v angels (i was in the area) and its a good place to watch a ball game. stadium is nice, seats are good although, id ask a little more from the fans (~25k for a weeknight game. weak in my book for a team that has had so much recent success) and the surrounding area (no real commercial district). southkevin2
I don't know how much a cab would be. There are also good deals if you have a college ID any day of the week. 2 for 1 in the upper deck behind home plate. Wednesdays the outfield is 2 for 1 $20. 1truefan
the ticket deals are great....thank you! I'm about to start heading over there.....i'm at the hilton atlanta...so it's not that far off....
CapeFish
I plan on going to Atlanta next month, no Marlins though. The Brewers-Braves series should still be a treat though. I am doing a college visit to Georgia Tech and maybe Georgia. We plan on staying in the perimeter and either driving or using the MARTA. TheMarlinsWinThe
the one time I went to Turner Field, I took the MARTA shuttle. It was pretty good. Wish I could drive down from North Carolina and catch some of the games but I got work
CapeFish
Is the MARTA Train system in Atlanta safe?
TheMarlinsWinThe
Is the MARTA Train system in Atlanta safe? 819112[/snapback] yup. especially since on game nights, most people on MARTA going to Five Points (where the shuttle starts) are people going to the stadium anyways. CapeFish
Good, it is much easier than trying to drive in a strange city.
