smells like a turd....yup ur right....that is the marlins' offense :whistle

We need to get a bat, its that simple. Lowell sucks balls.

We need to remake this team. Start with Bill Robinson and continue from there.

No way do we make the playoffs at this rate.

Why would I have any hope this team would get up for a series against the Braves?

I just don't get it

It's hard to blame the entire offensive woes on one person or think that one bat will fix it.

This team has no heart

Again, why is Lowell bating 5th?

Jack wants to stick to this lineup

EXACTLY!

You can see the lack of heart practically in every game. Lack of hustle, the shoulders shrugging, the faces, the self bickering: All from the lack of heart. They just need to pick themselves up. :(

If I had a dollar for every hard ass ball we hit at someone tonight, I could buy a DVD. And not a cheap one either.

Offense sucking again...so damned inconsistent...I hate to say it, but I just don't follow the games as much of late because for the most part the offense has been frustrating and/or boring and I want things to be different than the current status quo concerning the hitting... I wish there was a switch to keep the offense "on" for the rest of the season...All I keep thinking of is: wish the July tradeline is tomorrow and make some moves to improve this team...Strictly speaking about the whole season, sometimes it seems like Castillo, Cabs, and Delgado are the only ones that can get hits or knock in runs...when the team struggles and those 3 guys have an off-night, they get more blame than they should because they are expected to hit the ball EVERY time they're up because no one else can. JP has been inconsistent, Enc had a good April and disappeared after that, Lowell started off bad, would look like he is about to break out of slump, and then fool us and look like he needs to be benched again, LoDuca seems like he chases too many first pitches in a big situation, and AGonz..well, hitting from him is a bonus and I hope he keeps his average around .275-.280 for the year. Point is, excluding the majority of the upper half of the line-up, the bottom half doesn't seem dependable enough to produce runs on a consistent basis. Team gets hits, usually with 2 outs and no one on or when no runs can score. I'd rather see Easley and Steve play every night. I count myself a passionate fan of this team, but when this team has been consustently inconsistent all season, it makes me wonder where the mindset of this team is. ARe they going through the motions? Do they care about winning right now? What can be done? This team will not win if it stays as is after July.

So is that the answer? We are just the unluckiest hitting team in the MLB? :banghead

Until we get a bat, how's about starting Willingham, just for kicks?

This team is almost unwatchable right now.

... to say the least.

We keep waiting and waiting and waiting for this offense to show some consistency and play to their abilities. Occasionally they show us a spark, and then back to the same mediocre play. When will the agony end? :banghead :banghead

What do you people expect when only 3 of the starters are hitting consistently and have noticeablly above average hitting stats?

I expect the McKeon to give a chance to some of the younger guys that can hit like Dillon, Aguila, and Willingham.

nothing like scoring 3 runs in 2 nights. I wonder what its like to have a great offense and terrible pitching

Its like everytime they play the Braves, their nuts shrivel up or something. I really don't get it.
