i think the problem with the Yanks and the Fish is not that there's no interest, but simply that they have nothing to give back to us. notice that all of the people we're talking about getting in these deals (with the exception of Mark Redman) have been young, inexpensive, relatively major-league-ready players. who do the yanks have that fits that bill? Cano?

 

the yanks feed on teams that have nothing left to play for with nothing better to do with their season than to save as much cash as possible. that's not us - at least, not yet. at the end of this road trip, it might be a different story.....
