July 25, 200521 yr In a Gammons article, they had a poll of 50 GMs, scouts, managers, etc and Izturis and Gonzalez were 1-2 for infielders. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/gammons/story?id=2099547 A guy that I really like that was listed for OFs is Jeremy Reed. He's impressive. Hunter, Kotsay, Andruw and Reed were all listed for the OF and Edmonds wasn't. He doesn't have the range he once had.
July 25, 200521 yr I think Lowell is a better defensive 3rd basement than Rolen. Lowell actually has the highest fielding percentage than anyone in the NL.
