Are you friends or know Josh Patrick the quarterback?

I'm friends with him. I think he'll have a big year.

No, I don't know him personally. I think most quarterbacks will have a big years in our system, we're a pass happy offense. I hope his INT total goes down, that's been a problem for him.

I will be at that tOSU game.

You, me and President Bush will be there.

Seeing a bunch of people who probably voted for Bush turn on him and boo the crap out of him could be funny.

The only game I don't have tickets to is Miami University (of Ohio) vs. Ohio State. Why do people gotta' get married on gameday? 4 REAL!

Well, most diehard Buckeye fans (about 89% of people who live in Columbus) would put:

Ohio State football>President

in terms of level of importance. Sad, but true. And the dude's only there to root for Texas. Screw 'em.

This city leans far to the left anyway.

But I also fail to see how this is relevant to the game at all.

I'm more interested in how we're going to stop Vince Young than I am the reaction Bush gets.

With the Linebacking crew that Ohio State has and the schemes Tressel uses, Vince Young scares you that bad?

Im much more concerned with the Buckeye's QB situation.

Oh, I'm not worried. Big difference between worried and interested.

And I'm not worried about our QB situation that much either. Tressel basically said a couple days ago that Smith is the QB here. Zwick will play against Miami and then we'll go back to our real QB.

If there's anything I'm worried about on this team its the offensive line and whether one of these running backs is going to emerge and give us a running game for the first time since #13.

I personally think Maurice Wells is going to win the job in camp.

It's "Padrick"

I played little league with Josh back in the day.

Mark Donald?

Nope.

I'm from Chocolate city (Cocoa), not from MI. Josh played for Cocoa little league for a couple years.

The Big 10 is going to be quite fun this season now that Iowa is emerging as that 3rd superpower and well, the conference in general is just better.

And nobody should have been surprised with what Vince Young did to UM after seeing Troy Smith do basically the same thing about 6 weeks earlier.

TOSU, much like Iowa, will be scary good this season if they can find an RB, and I highly doubt Texas is capable of winning in Columbus.

Im with you on Wells...Im not really sold on Pittman being a feature back or the star quality back tOSU needs to have a balanced offense.

I like Erik Haw a lot, but I guess he hasn't done much to impress the coaches and then there was that fun marijuana possession stuff.

He played his high school ball maybe 500 yards from where I'm sitting right now typing this, so I have extra interest in him. He has 4.3 speed and yet runs with power, so who knows.

This guy is going to be good. Practice is practice. I want to see him in game situations. He's too fast. My only question would be can he take a hit?

There's no Afrocentric H.S. on OSU's schedule for him to run 3 plays and get 200 yards on. But, his speed makes him my favorite of the three.

Pittman always seemed more like a FB to me.

Can Big 10 fans please tell me if making a bet that Purdue wins under 8.5 games is a bad bet???? I looked over their schedule and i see at least 4 or 5 possible losses.

Well, let's see. Their non conference is Akron, at Arizona, and hosting Notre Dame. They probably win all 3 of those games.

In conference, I think you can say they win 3 of their 4 home games, lose to Iowa.

They'll beat Indiana. So I have them at 7 wins right there.

They would have to win 2 of the 3 at Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Penn State. It's doable.

Most think Purdue is the 4th best team in the conference and they don't play OSU or Michigan, so I certainly think 9-2 is a possibility.

best game there is iowa and iowa state. ND sucks. Ohio State stucks.

It is all about the ACC and SEC this year. Watch. They are as always the best in college football.

But, dood, someone already said Ohio State "stucks"! :shifty

Seriously, this is going to be tight. I can't WAIT for the game. And after our last game, I'm feeling pretty good going in.
