Plus, as much as I'd love for the Phils to win the wildcard, it is only a second place prize. Like in Sixteen Candles, it is like being King of the Dorks. I guess that's kinda cool. King of the non-division winners! Yeah! If the Phils (or the Marlins) were actually men, they'd rise up and topple the Braves. Instead we shuffle around, phighting for the crumbs. Then again, Anaheim was the King of the Dorks, too, and they won the Big Kahuna so anything's possible. Lots of season left, tho, lots of season. Good luck tonight. There was a time, oh when was it.....................1997 I think it may have been, when the so-called "kings of the dorks" just stomped a mudhole in EVERYBODY'S A$$ES (including those Bravos) on their way to the title. We don't need to win the division, we just need a ticket to the party. What good has winning the division done for the Braves? 11 years running and 1 ring to show for it. So far we're 1/1. I think the Braves are the King of the Dorks for getting there and falling all over themselves.
