August 8, 200521 yr Lowell's hitting this year is absolutely unacceptable. We can't make the playoffs with our 3B hitting this badly. I am tired of waiting for him to start hitting (not just for average, but for power too). Miggy at 3B, Niner in LF, and have Aguila spell Niner every so often to keep him fresh. Let's just decide to give 3B to Miggy for years to come. He's the man and we ought to make this move.

August 8, 200521 yr And send Aguila back down? I think we should start Niner in LF, let Hermida keep playing everyday, and let Aguila provide Niner with some days off. I just think Niner is still superior to Hermida and Hermida needs to play some more to continue to develop... he shouldn't be sitting on the bench.

August 8, 200521 yr When everyone gets back, I'd like to put Lowell and Pierre in a creative platoon with Encarnacion (RF, CF) and Cabrera (LF, 3B) changing positions. But Jack would never go for it. We need offense. Our pitching will only get us to .500
