Tough one here: Which Marlins pitcher has written a column for The Sporting News since 2002?

Wow...they really strained to come up with that question.

Justin Wayne or Tommy Phelps, or maybe the work together on one lol

Nomah throws away the backend of the double play...2 runs score, 3-2. At least only 1 of them is earned.

Only 56 pitches through 5 innings for Dontrelle...if he keeps it up, the bullpen will get a night off, which is nice after Jack had to use a few guys last night.

Woody has settled down....3 innings too late.

Maybe our guys are just relaxing and enjoying the already comfortable lead.

2004 Season

The year started badly for former ace closer Billy Koch and just kept getting worse, even after a June 17 trade that sent him from the White Sox to the Marlins. The Marlins gave him six weeks and many chances to turn things around and become a viable setup man for Armando Benitez. Finally they gave up and acquired Guillermo Mota and Rudy Seanez in separate trades. Koch took the ball just six more times before leaving the club for personal reasons in mid-September. He was released in October.

What a worthless deal for us. Poor W.V.

Hey, we get to face Seanez, the one we should of never let get away.
