September 5, 200520 yr Author Sorry for the bump.. I didnt want to make a new thread! Since Mikey Lowell is struggling and Gonzo is hurting.. Jack will probably play Andino or Hermida or even both (I can dream.. Cant I?). Hermida cant do any worse than Mikey because Mikey is not doing anything. What would your lineups be?
September 5, 200520 yr we need offense I realize Willingham is getting the shaft but f***in aye, play him Jack... come on same can be said for Hermida right now

September 5, 200520 yr we need offense I realize Willingham is getting the shaft but f***in aye, play him Jack... come on same can be said for Hermida right now 929814 The shaft? Are you stretching it a little? The a. Marlins are in a pennant race b. Has not proved he can play at ML level - defensive liability at minimum c. Who do your replace in the starting line up? If the season were over, yes they should play. However, it isnt and not so sure there are many guys out there who think Willingham will be much more than a AAA success.
September 5, 200520 yr 1. JP - (CF) - Faster than Castillo. He needs to get on and get moved around 2. LoDuca ? - I want this good average, mostly singles hitter moved up in the line-up. Speed is a detriment, but if he gets on base and moves JP in scoring range, I'll take it. 3. Delgado (1B) - Put him 3rd to stagger the line-up a bit (l vs. r) 4. Cabs (3B) - If JP is on with 2 outs, I would rather want Cabs to have last chance to knock him in. 5. Conine (LF) - I like Conine, but it says something when we have no one else proven with power to protect Cabs 6. Hermida (RF) - Give the kid a chance. (Again a l vs. r decision) 7. Gonzalez/Andino/Easley(SS) - I don't like Sea Bass next to the pitcher; 2 quick easy outs unless D-Train is pitching. 8. Castillo (2B) - Unconventional, but I have 2 reasons for this move. One: Puts speed at the bottom of the line-up; if he gets on, pitcher bunts him over and line-up gets turned over faster. Two: It breaks up the black hole of the bottom third of the line-up. 9. Pitcher
September 5, 200520 yr Andino or Easley have to start at ss Gonzo's elbow is killing this defense. 929854 Amen. It does little good for Alex to get to ball in the hole if he can't make the throw. In other words, he range is useless right now.
September 5, 200520 yr Haven't looked at what anyone else said but this is what I would love to see (wishful thinking) 2B - Luis LF - Willingham 3B - Cabrera 1B - Delgado CF - Enc RF - Hermida C - LoDuca SS - Gonzalez/Andino Seriously, atleast get Hermida in the lineup. Willingham playing in place of Pierre is just wishful thinking.... just get Hermida in the lineup. We need that spark.
